For £13.50p.m. you can get a sim-only contract that meets your needs with giffgaff, Lyca, Three, Tesco Mobie, ...

Its a good phone but doesnt have the external memeory slot for sd card. but has good camera features like night mode and HD video. 16Gb internal memory (or prob about 13GB free) should hopefully be more than enough. 1GB RAM and using apps direct from memory should be fast enough. Offline maps should mean using less data when outdoors. Has the camera flash and front facing camera.
With EE you get the freebies like 2for1 cinema tickets and tethering.
