You're a bloke who can't even change a wing mirror on a Polo and we're the losers?

    Oh the irony.
  • Some helpful responses but also plenty of loser Troll comments but I guess some people's lives are that empty.

Got a quote for £30 off 1st Choice. Laters.

    Eh? !!!!!!?

No wonder the original garage wanted to charge you £70. It was probably £20 +VAB*

  • BeenThroughItAll you're from the North East and so I really don't have to try very hard to look down on you.

I've got this image of a bunch of 'Little Britainers' living out their Walter Mitty fantasies behind their keyboards.

You probably believe in Muslim terrorists and Ebola too.
  • Oh dear, that's another ego added to the ignore list.

If that was a dealer quote then that's just the price they charge.

If it's an indy garage then Beenthroughitall's right. That's just their polite way of saying you've come across as a bit of a *insert sweary word* and we don't want your custom unless you pay through the nose"

I have an 08 plate Polo. Don't forget the repeat indicator is on the wing mirror which will bump up the price a bit.

Not the price of fitting it won't.
  • does the new mirror include the repeater light , or does that have to be transferred over to the new one?

Does the price include painting the mirror cover?

Actually, I'm not. I just live there. I was born in Essex and educated in Suffolk. Frankly I don't care if you look down on me.

I imagine you'll have some ready stereotypes to apply based on my East Anglian past, but if not, I suggest:
