Actually it may not make much of a difference.
Full HD is just a marketing term, many use it to say its 1080p/
HD ready mean the Tv can at least handle a HD signal, ie 720p+
But a 1080p can be sold as HD Ready.
Which is why there is often alot of confusion.

Did someone swallow a marketing manual?with colour enhancement technology to boost and enhance the colours X-Box games will look great and 100Hz will give smoother flicker free motion on graphics and movies.
I'll take my colours 'true' rather than 'enhanced' thanks.
OP - you do want a 1080 (Full HD) TV. If you can have it with Freeview HD, even better. And don't worry about 100Hz either, TV is only broadcast at 50Hz.0 -
