Sold a few bits that I listed on eB@y at the end of May with end dates in June (will declare figures at month end)

Last Sunday I got an email offering me 100 free listings - fortunately valid until end of Tuesday as I was away for the weekend and didn't get home until late Monday. Ended up spending several hours on Tuesday fighting the system trying to get my listings working with the Global Shipping Program (spent quite a while chatting to Customer Support!), so only managed to get 36 listings up - and they were all things I'd listed before that hadn't sold. But at least I made some use of the offer.

Got up this morning to an email offering me 75% discount on the FSV of my first 10 listings by midnight tonight. I've manage to get 10 items up, and 8 of them are things I've not listed before so that's quite good.

Still got the standard monthly 20 free listings to use, and nothing else new dug out for listing. Guess I'm going to have to see what I can do this week, but if all else fails I'll put unsold items back up (nothing ventured nothing gained, and it's not costing me to retry them).

£13 from some items I relisted on ebay, quite pleased with that although I thought it was going to be more but someone withdrew a bid. I am off on holiday so no listing till I get back. Hope everyone carries on doing well while I am away.

Sold 14 items on eB@y during June, which gives me another £19.72 to add to my total after deducting fees and postage from payments. My total for the year to date is now £159.96. Don't think I'm going to come close to the £1000, but anything's better than just throwing stuff away (or giving to local charity shop, though they've still had some light but bulky stuff I didn't fancy trying to post even if someone was prepared to pay), so I'm going to carry on with my dribs and drabs ;)

Biggest surprise was an item that sold yesterday. I found a completed Harry Potter sticker book from 2001/02 which I almost threw away, but the stickers had all been put in very carefully so I decided to shove it up at 99p on a free listing before binning. Ended up with 4 watchers, 3 bidders and a selling price of £5.58 :T And to top it all I'd listed it on a 75% off final fees offer so I made a few more pennies on it that I would have on a normal free insertion :D

  • Sorry not been on to update lately but have been preoccupied over my cat that went missing for 5 days last week. Now home safe and sound:j. Missed 2 car boot days this weekend but would rather have my cat than any amount of money:T

Since last update I did 2 car boots the weekend before last and made profits of £69 for one and £178 for the other, a total of £247. Absolutely amazed but am not sure I've anything left to sell now that anyone could possibly want:o.

Also sold a couple of books on Amazon for £30.90 after fees etc.

Just added the £277.90 to my total amount:j.

Good luck everyone, there are some amazing amounts being made. Even people who apologise for not making much are making something, and that'smore than you had before. Every little helps, as the saying goes:beer:

It's a long time since I last posted as I've been away for some of May and June and haven't really got into the swing of selling things again. Must try harder!!
The total for May was £43-67.
    For this month £45.87.
So total so far is £920.26.Really pleased but why is there still so much clutter about?
