BohemianCoast - petri dishes?! :rotfl:
Er yes, leftover from science experiments with the kids but unused -- I bought more than I needed. This is what I mean about my HOUSE being full of JUNK.
Right. A really quiet week for selling, in that I've shifted only a radio -- £15 for the pile.Make £2023 in 2023: (all decluttering), current total £2860 me, £330 for friends & family, £468 charity donations.0 -

Can I join please. I joined e bay today and got a headache trying to figure it all out but made my first £10. Two more items listed and going to do two more tomorrow. I am recently retired but due to changing retirement age for women I don't get my state pension for 3 years so money is a bit tight. I want to do some decorating and need to get rid of all the stuff my husband has been hoarding so e baying seems ideal.
Joining here seems a great way to keep me motivated.Sell £1500

Welcome mumps.
I've just sold another basket on Facebook, I'll wait until they collect and give me the cash before I officially declare. FB seems so hit and miss, it's been on for a couple of days and barely any interest and then all of a sudden 4 people want it!!! What's up with that....I guess when it comes to FB selling pages you just have to be patient!Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -
Hello everyone
.
We have finished painting and decorating 3 bedrooms, alot of decluttering has been going on.Slowly things are selling.
As you say, mossy,Fb is very hit and miss.A couple of items (two of the same thing) that I listed on different Fb sites 2 weeks ago raised so much interest I had to keep a written list of the order people were bagsying it.But dear,do you think anyone was interested enough to come and collect as soon as possible?Noooooooo.I got to 7th and 8th person on the list before anyone was interested enough to come and collect .
Made a sale on Gumtree for £25 today.I was very pleased with that.
So total so far is £92.
£92 in 2 months.At this rate,to reach £1000 target,the year needs to be about 22 months long................

Whilst dragging something else out of a cupboard [strike]today[/strike] yesterday, I came across a bag of clothes my son was planning to throw in the bin a good few months ago. A fair few bits were in good condition, so I gave me a ticking off and said they should at the very least be taken to a charity shop - at which point he gave me permission to dispose of them as I saw fit.
On finding them again I decided to stick them on eB@y, and hope to get 10 items (8 T-shirts, a pair of jeans and a casual denim look shirt) listed tomorrow. Most of the T-shirts have logos or pictures that mean the market I'm aiming for is definitely lads of his age group (he was about 23 or 24 when he bought them, turns 26 this week). I don't expect to get much for any that sell, but I'm still working on trying to get a seller rating before I start listing things I want a decent price for so will be happy to get a few pennies and feedbackCheryl0 -

Made £29.50 with £12.70 bids on 3 items with a few days to go, quite happy with my first week. I do have some bigger items to sell but thought it was best to start small. I am finding e bay a bit bizarre, listed two items one with a broken bit and one perfect, so far the broken one has bids of £8 and the perfect one £1.50, can't quite get my head round it, they have got different boxes so don't know if one is special in some way. Ah well, its all money.Sell £1500
