Bus took wing mirror off car...what to do?

The bus company will sort it. They won't share their records of a sub £100 non fault claim from a third party. Never in a million years would your insurance get cancelled.
I think you will find that it is a legal requirement when details havn't been exchanged following a damage relating accident.

Yeah i remember doing the 'right thing' many moons ago.
Reported van hitting my parked car. Found said van - company wrote me a cheque.
Thought that was that until my insurer DOUBLED my insurance on renewal - for my 'claim'
Doing the 'right thing' seems to be for mugs - while crooks get to run a bank, be PM or Heads of FIFA.
Ask the bus Co if they will be going through insurance - if yes then fine - tell em. But if not, and they prefer to settle, or you decide to sort it yourself - then don't inform insurers.0
