Have just priced a Sony Z3 compact up for my daughter and Amazon are coming up cheaper than Tesco and Carphone Warehouse.
I know I haven`t bought the phone yet but in the worst case scenario, if a fault should develop with the phone am I right in thinking that Amazon have the better customer service to get any problems sorted? Tesco are pretty rubbish from past experience and don`t know much about Carphone Warehouse.
We want to purchase the phone outright as she has a monthly sim only deal to cover calls, texts etc.
Any views on Amazon would be very much appreciated. Many thanks

If you buy from Amazon you get excellent customer service, if you buy from Amazon Marketplace it's more like buying from eBay.====0

Hi, thanks for replying, its definitely from Amazon.
The only electronic items I have bought from them was my kindle and in the summer we bought a tablet, but the phone as you can appreciate is a bit pricey and I always wonder if we will get the `dud one`. So far with Sony phones my daughter has always been very lucky so fingers crossed. Should I be paying with my credit card instead of debit card as its £379, just as a bit more backup I suppose. Its quite frightening as the most we have paid for a mobile in the past has been £150.0 -
To be honest once you get past 28 days any problems are going to be dealt with by Sony or a Sony authorized service centre (which CPW probably are).
It matters not where it comes from, really.0 -

I can't think of any reason not to have the extra protection of the credit card and then just immediately pay the card.====0 -
