I can bet this has been posted a number of times but im unsure how to search previous posts... so appologies in advance
So just got the keys to my new house and my 2 year old goes runing into the back garden and straight onto her bum... she was not happy lol
The previous owner has had decking out down and its alot of it! question is how can I make is un-slippery? Shall i borrow a jet wash and jet em down and then use some kind of paint on them?
As always any help always appreciated

They are a number of solutions, including non slip paints/ varnishes. Or there are things you can lay in the groves which so it being slippery.0

[FONT="]Cleaning will likely cure it ? Some people buy special non slip paints/varnishes some add non slip paint granules as per manufactures instructions (often used on boat decking best option relatively cheap £5 upwards per bag) and others just paint/varnish whilst still wet sprinkle evenly with dry sharp sand ? I had a spectacular fall at the weekend after putting the bins out (see, I KNEW it was a blokes job:D). Then we put chicken wire down and I slipped gain and nearly grated my !!!!! off! And no, I had not been on the sauce.0

think the ol vendors never really looked after the decking as it looks quite filthy, plust thy had a dog running around wet grass etc im sure that never helped.
once again thank everyone.0
