Congrats on the birth of gregory (love the name) and the house move...
two things. 1.. what kinda employer expects you to work 2 weeks after you gave birth?
and 2. Since when is 8lb 14oz not 9lbs???????? what kinda 'more than my job's worth is that'.....there is no such thing as 8lb 14oz surely???
anyway, please find some rest....gosh fancy moving and giving birth all at the same time.....
lol :beer:0 -
Well done - its 16oz in a lb and then 14 lb in a stone! I often used to get confused with these! Your brain must have turned to jelly as is common in pregnancy etc.
Can't believe you are supposed to go to work. Its surely illegal?0 -
Yep, my daughter was 6lb 15 oz - an ounce short of 7lbsIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Massive congratulations on the birth of your son, I love the name, sooo cute. I'm glad you have managed to get back online - we were starting to get a little worried. Can't believe you collected the keys to your house on the way to the hospital!!
Hope you are enjoying these early weeks, when life is a mad jumble of unbelievable happiness and a healthy dose of terrified 'oh my god, I have no idea what I'm doing'.
Take care hun, and congratulations again. :A"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Just wanted to add my congratulations and well done on a house move and baby on the same day - that is most definately multi tasking :T
Big thumbs down to your employers though, have they no compassion? It is illegal for you to work until at least 2 weeks after your baby has been born - good on you for taking your breaksLong haulers supporters DFW #109NR Loan #1 - £2951.18 Nov 08/0 -

Picking up the keys on the way to the hospital! Good Lord! And I'm with everyone else, thats terrible that you're supposed to be at work, I remember you saying what you do, can't the union bash them on the head for you?
Anyway. Gregory! Lovely. Well done you, and OH, hope you're enjoying the new baby.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
