Ooh, dodgy tummy today! I've been having minor contraction-like pains all day (and a bit of yesterday as well!) but they don't seem to be coming to anything. Anyway, it's far too early - he's not due until tomorrow!
Staying with the inlaws is starting to grate on all of us slightly and tempers are rising. DH came home from work early today with a violent sickness/poo bug (won't attempt to spell the 'd' word!) and has been in bed ever since. A bit worrying considering we need to clear out the last of the house tomorrow, and the fact that baby is now quite literally due any minute!
Choca - sorry, you should have asked! It never even occurred to me that anyone would be that interested! Ah well, sorry if it was a bit disappointing - nothing exciting after all.
Lizzybop - keep posting: it's addictive! But  at the 39 minutes - it'll take us at least that long to get to the hospital!
Wendy, there's absolutely no danger of there being a third. Not worked out the details yet, but steps will definitely be taken to make sure of that!0 -
Lizzybop - 39 mins isn't very long! Hope the baby isn't always that speedy.... :rotfl: Mind you, a friend of mine delivered his wife's baby in the car. That was a bit rushed too....
Panda - sorry things are getting a bit tense, it can't be easy for you. And  at being an ATC, I'd never have guessed that either! I wish I had a scientific-y job like that. I'm a failed scientist really, y'know (apart from the astronomy diploma, my single scientific success).
Hope you get some sleep - and keep posting!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

My first was 15.5hrs 2nd 3.5hrs and I too had contractions all the day I went into labour but they were nothing to write home about so I ignored them, then they stopped for a few hours. Then I suddenly had one big contraction, he kicked at the same time and my waters broke  and that was it he was on his way, so waste no time. Maybe just post on this thread quickly then get in the car
:D:D Priorities and all!!!

I'm still here!!! Sorry, logged on yesterday, and FIL's broadband promptly logged me straight off again! Didn't have the energy to find my dongle thingy so just gave up!
I've been having contractions for nesrly 2 days now, and they're pretty violent at times, but they just don't seem to be getting anywhere. The last 3 have been about 10 mins apart but for the past 2 days they've been varying between 7 and 22 mins (not that I've been timing!). Just spoke to the hospital and I've got a routine appointment this morning anyway so they'll do an examination and see what's happening.
And we move house today, as if that's not enough! As far as we know all's going ahead so we should get the keys sometime this afternoon. I have no idea how all that's going to work, but it will work one way or another.
Will try and keep you all posted - thanks so much for all the kind (and modest!) messages!0
