Hello everyone! We had a lovely day out yesterday, enjoyed the market and bought a few bits, house and gardens looking lovely, and nice to catch up with our friends.

Met another friend for coffee this morning, called in at Homebase on the way as needed new pegs to put up the advent envelopes with. Have got two loads of washing through and hoovered downstairs, and have a loaf in the breadmaker. Also sorted some presents that had been delivered on Saturday, had to wait until I had the house to myself to open them!

It's DH's birthday tomorrow, so DS13 is making him a birthday cake. I still have his presents to wrap and card to write.
  • Evening everyone, I've been in town all day trying to find stocking presents and my feet know all about it!!! The queues were immense and the traffic coming home was nose to tail on the main road, still most things got now and at last back home and had 2 cups of delicious tea so all's right with the world.

Judi, glad that poor little Caleb has found safe harbour with your girlie and her partener, it's harrowing to read of such things happening but thank goodness he's safe now. Those girls are doing such wonderful work for the babies, they are to be proud of aren't they?

I'm cheating for supper and we're having meatballs with new potatoes, salad and cream sauce I've even got some lingonberry jam from Ikea and I just have to heat it all up, so no cooking involved and it will be delicious. Think it's a hot bath and an early night for me after that.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MR AND MRS DUMPLING hope you really enjoy your Indian Take Away, congratulations, Lyn xxx.

Happy Anniversary Mr and Mrs Dumpling!

Judi - What a marvelous job your daughter and partner do, they look so happy and relaxed. Can't believe someone would sell their child, I hope Caleb has no recollection of what has happened to him when he gets older.

Chilly here, DDs bedding on the airers, cauliflower cheese for tea which is smelling delicious - hope DD gets in soon! Got one side of a door to paint tonight and the christmas pressies to sort. Take care XX
