    Good Morning all,

Thanks for starting us off nmlc-hope you get to work on time.
tru, thanks for the carols, they come around again pretty quickly these days:D
Happy anniversary Dumpling, hope you enjoy your day together:happylove
I'm having a slow start to the day, catching up on emails etc.Ordered a few more pressies yesterday so just bits and bats for DSons, think I'm finished for the DGC now.I want to start writing cards especially as we have moved house, though we still have a redirection for the post till January.

Beef stew & dumplings for tea.I am going to make another C cake as I wasnt really happy with the last one, didnt have a round tin to hand so put it in 2 loaf tins but the cakes weren't deep enough so I am going to have to venture into the garage of doom to get a round one out. They were a bit chewy on top but wont get wasted :D.MMarie I use the same recipe too,and its usually lovely.

Sistercas-hope tomorrow goes as well as it can do,hugs.

Wishing a good day for you all x

As you can see, my morning so far has been taken up with news from South Africa.

My daughter has called in with my Grandson and 'Youngest' has been for his driving lesson and hubby has rang to moan that work wants to send him 200 miles away on the next job.

I'll come back to earth in a minute.

A list for myself to work through.

Tea seems a long way off.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Dumpling on your anniversary. May there be many, many more years to come.

    Onwards and forwards,

    have a great day all.

  • Judi Caleb looks to be a bonny little boy doesn't he, and quite handsome.

All the girls look happy and what a wonderful job they do, where would these babes be without their kindness and expertise?

  • Morning all,

Brrrr!! feels decidedly Wintry out there today. Do I smell snow?...

Tru - Love the Carol and had to sing it out loud!

Judi - Caleb looks a darling :), your DD is very pretty :)

Mr and Mrs Dumpling - Happy Anniversary :)

Been to do the Morning club then on to another school to invigilate the mock Yr11 exams, popped back to sort out washing and a cup of coffee before heading back for the lunchtime stint.

Not sure what's for dinner tonight, will decide later.

Don't know if it's me but lots of people seem to have put up their decs earlier this year?

Have a good day all x

Thanks so much for your kind words. Ive just found out the reason he has come into the girls care.

He was sold by his Mum to his Gran. His Gran sold him to a local person who used him to beg with.

    How awful. :(

  • Oh good Lord Judi that is dreadful, how could a mother do that to her own child (and grandmother as well).

I am sure the girls will find a lovely home for him eventually, and he will be loved just as he should be.

Happy Anniversary to the dumplings animated-smileys-love-erotic-041.gif

We have a bit of a breeze today so washing is on the line, I have warned my lot that if they keep piling it up in their rooms they will be doing it themselves at the launderette!

Plans for today is to get the boys to get the Christmas stuff down from the loft because DH couldn't be arsked to do it yesterday.

This week looks set to be a cold one, I have just lit the wood burner, because the heating only goes on for an hour in the morning when DH gets up at 5.30 am and It shuts off at 6.30am which means the house is still warm when everyone else gets up.

Bacon Pasta for dinner today which I will start in a little while and we will eat before DH goes back to work because he wants to go swimming tonight.

    Onwards and forwards
