Don't you usually need a pre-printed bank giro credit?
You know like you always used to, but in the past you could fill the payees details in yourself? (I think you can only do this in the payees own bank now)
Bank giro credit slips ask for name of person paying in the credit ... or at least all the ones I've ever used do.0 -

If you need a bank slip, they normally just have them in the foyer to fill in. I guess if it asks for a name you could always leave it blank and just hope they don't notice.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0 -

This is very true. All you need generally for most banks is just the s/c and a/c to pay into the account. Questions will generally only be asked if the money is a large lump sum, as they need to question this for money laundering.

I've paid money into Barclays without completing a giro credit slip many times and just given a printed receipt.
That booklet was printed in July 2013, the process must have changed since then.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
It varies by bank and by payment type. Some are easier to work out than others.
As someone else mentioning, in some cases, intentionally disguising the sender could be linked to money laundering.0
