End of t-mobile contract - what to do?

I pay £14.17/month on T-Mobile for:

300 minutes (pretty much right, use around 200-250 typically, excluding the unlimited landline calls)
500 texts (use around 150 average)
unlimited land line (this isn't itemised, but I guess less than the mobiles)
750MB data

2 year deal, last time got a Lumia 920.

So two questions:

* Is there any chance of getting a decent phone (previous gen flagship, or current gen upper midrange) with an upgrade on the same sort of monthly price, maybe up to £20/month.

* If I ditch T-mobile, what's the best I can do for 400/500 minutes, 200 texts, and 1GB of 4G data on sim-only/PAYG?

Comments

  • First thing 'to do' is ensure you give the requisite notice if you decide to leave.
  • Tesco has the Moto G 4G with 1000 mins, 5000 texts and 1GB 4G for £16 a month (and you can cap any additional use at £2.50 to avoid any surprise big bills). A bit of money back from Topcashback is possible too.

    Your contract hasn't ended.

    You have just reached the end of the minimum term.

    To exit the contract, you have to make sure you give the required notice - as Kernel Sanders said above.

    Isn't 500MB rather low for an LG G3 phone, especially if using 4G data?
