last UU prob of the year is the clinique take the day off cleansing balm - love this stuff have another in the stash0

Hope you all don't mind me posting this.
Unfortunately last Tuesday I found out my little dog may have lymphoma which would mean he would most likely only have a few weeks.
Unfortunately he has been sick a couple of times and the vets are keeping him in overnight on a drip and running tests.
I haven't told any family yet as didn't want to ruin anyone's Christmas and haven't had a firm diagnosis as yet, although this is the most likely result. It's only 6 months since I lost my other dog.
Sorry for the post just needed to tell someone0 -
Hi ladies, have managed to log onto our dinosaur of a PC to post my INs (gulp! - even for me) which I'll do once I've caught up with the thread.
First of all my condolences to Roguey. I know it's been a little while since you posted your sad news but I could not post and not say hello and say that I hope you are coping. xxBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I hope everyone is enjoying the festivities! Back to work for me tomorrow though!I hope to join you ladies next month as I'm going on a no-buy in 2015
Welcome newbies. You have found your second home (as opposed to Boots, Lush, Superdrug, TBS, Selfridges etc ....) lol.22/12/14

I have a few sale ins:
Liz Earle Bergamot & Ginger Body Wash
Liz Earle Bergamot & Ginger Body Lotion
Liz Earle Limited Edition C&P Orange & Mint
Liz Earle C&P 30ml
These were from the gorgeous Liz Earle shop in Leeds. I managed to come home without any further toiletries but there will be more damage when my online orders arrive.
Ooh Dolly I am a big fat copy cat and have ordered those items in the LE online sale today. Tried the body lotion when I was in JL yesterday and just couldn't resist today when I saw it was reduced. Emma loves the Ltd Ed C&P too so that's for her.I have a UU: Tresemme Deep Cleansing Shampoo.
WIBA? I had some highlights over Christmas, so really I need to get me some blonde-enhancing shampoo. Tresemme normally works really well for my hair, though.)
Hugs to all. Don't go too mad in the sales!
We are getting to the end of our huge bottle of Tresemme at the moment - the Thermal Recovery one - and I'm going to replace it with another. Do you know of any good offers on Tresemme at the mo? Usually get it from ASDA.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Suidreams - so sorry to hear about your little dog.I
L'occitane Shea Hand Cream 30ml - sad to see this go as it is lovely hand cream and the Shea scent is my favourite of theirs. No way I WBA on it's own due to the price, if I am to buy expensive hand cream it would probably be Crabtree & Evelyn otherwise a cheaper brand will suffice.
These are great to pick up as magazine freebies though.
OK, brace yourselves ladies here are the INs from Santa. I have been thoroughly spoiled this year although can't help feeling a little like Basil Fawlty re: his gambling being stopped!!
So I got:-
Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream 100ml SUPERSIZE
Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm 105g FULL SIZE
Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream 30ml
NEW Pro-Collagen Super Serum Vials x 2 rows
Pro-Collagen Advanced Eye Treatment 15ml FULL SIZE
Papaya Enzyme Peel 50ml FULL SIZE
Luxury Cleansing Cloth
OPI Gwen Stefani set containing Rolling in Cashmere, Snow Globetrotter and Comet in the Sky. Love the glitters very much.
Laura Geller Bella Vita Collection containing Balance N Brighten, Illuminator, Eyeshadow, Mascara, Eyeliner, Lipstick and 2 brushes. Have tried everything except the foundation, mascara and eyeliner as I have these products open already. Love the highlighter and lipstick very much.
Nars set of four lipglosses
Nars blush in Decouteur
Philosophy Pumpkin Icing shower gel
Philosophy Pure Grace layering kit
Smashbox eyeliner from Emma. This is lovely too.
L'Occitane bottle of Jasmine & Bergamot fragrance. My absolute fave and I've just finished my full sized bottle too.
L'Occitane kit containing soap, mini sizes of shea hand cream, almond shower gel and verbena shower gel.
L'occitane kit containing shea hand cream and lip balm.
L'Occitane Jasmine & Bergamot shower gel, body lotion and soap from my sister.
Bomb Cosmetics bath bombs and Champneys set with hand cream and three nail colours from friends at work. Boiurjois nail colour from Secret Santa.
Then I did also go on the sales and got:-
2 x sets from Lush containing Yog Nog soap and Hot Toddy shower gel (this is gorgeous), A few other separate bath bombs for Emma plus a Melting Snowman and Holly Golightly for me. Bought replacement bar of Porridge too as I don't get to Lush very often.
3 x Boots Extracts body butters from Boots.
So, if anyone sees me posting about spending on anything else I seriously do have a problem!! Although I am considering buying back up bottles of the OPI glitters. Sorry x.
Have just put all these items away and my stash drawers are fit to bursting. Must be good from now on. Need to save for my hols anyway xxBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. SuiDreams, I am so sorry, that's just not fair, coming so soon after losing your other dog.
I hope you can tell other family members soon and that they can share the burden; perhaps they suspect the worst too.
My childhood dog, Bruce, died January 3rd 1969, the one tiny blessing being that it didn't wreck Christmas or New Year.
We never got the chance to say goodbye to Bruce, I wish you strength and comfort for when that time comes for you. At least you can do what is kindest and minimise suffering, hard though it is.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Suidreams - hope your dog is on the mend soon, how worrying for you.
VALM - you have been spoiled, it all sounds lovely. I had a sniff of the two other Liz Earle shower gels in the store, the Vanilla & Saffron one was a bit too subtle for me but the other (I forget the scents now) was lovely but a bit too similar to Elemis Frangipani which I have two tubes of which is why I got the Ginger one.
Ok sales ins:
Liz Earle nail polish in Ebb Tide.
Liz Earle Superbalm
2 x Liz Earle C&P minis
Sai Sei Mineral Seaweed Bath Crystals
Laura Mercier Honey Musk Bubble Bath & Body Creme x 2 sets
Laura Mercier Artists Palette for Eyes and Face
Aromatherapy Associates Bath Jewels
I know I got the Bath Jewels for Christmas but I love them so much I wanted a back up set and they were half price.
First Aid Beauty Purifying Mask with Red Clay
Philosophy Pure Grace Layering Set with perfume, shower gel and whipped body creme.
Philosophy Living Grace Layering set - as above.
The two Philosophy sets were half price with all three times for half the price of the perfume on its own almost.
I think there are two more parcels to arrive on the toiletry front anyway.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hi ladies, belated Christmas wishes to you all - hope you're all enjoying the holidays, and if I don't manage to pop in again beforehand - all the very best for the new year ahead.
Sorry I've been awol for the past week. I'll update properly with my many (mostly gifted though!) INs at a later date.
In the meantime I just wanted to pass on my sympathies to roguey and suidreams - so sorry to hear your respective sad news, dreadful at any time of year but moreso around Christmas.
Roguey it sounds like you have lots of loved ones around you - but take care of yourself.
suidreams poor you, and how brave you must have had to be, keeping it all to yourself this past week. I hope your little dog gets better and your worst fears aren't confirmed. I know too well the worry that comes with a sick pet and really feel for you.

Hi ladies,
Loving your sales INS stories...all sounds lovely!
I've got a few of my own...naturally:rotfl:
Went into Lush for the first time (I know) a few days ago and got:
Joy to the World gift set- containing Snowcake soap and Dream Cream body lotion
and another gift set which contained a Hot Toddy shower gel and a Yog Nog soap. Also got a snowman FUN for DS bath as I think he'd enjoy it :-)
So far i've only used the hot toddy shower gel and i have to admit (sorry to everyone on here who likes it) but i'm not getting on with the smell. It reminds me of those chilli flavour jelly beans and I'm really not keen. If anyone wants it they're welcome...PM me and i'll send it to you, just paying for postage. I've not tried the other bits yet but hopefully i'll have more success!
Also went into SpaceNK yesterday and got the last Ren Rose Otto trio for £9.50. Contains shower gel, body lotion and a bath oil. I LOVE this scent it's one of my absolute faves so I was pleased to get this.
Went onto the SpaceNK website at the start of the sale and was tempted by a few things but it's £5 for delivery and it put me off a bit. Think it's a bit steep considering what they're selling (i.e. very small things!)
In desperate need of a new lancome bi-facil so will be scouring eBay for a good deal on that over the next few days.
Also (off topic) got 2 pairs of Fat Face pyjama bottoms in the sale and they are GREAT:j comfiest PJs ever...just had to tell you haha
SuiDreams sorry to hear of your sad news ((hugs to you))0
