I had a lovely bath last night with one of my new Aromatherapy Associates bath oils, so far I have tried Inner Strength and last night Light Relax, they are both so nice and very scented. After my bath I had a cup of Whittards Dreamtime tea which is really lovely and a nice change to hot chocolate, I was very relaxed by the end of all that.
Painted my nails last night with my new Barry M Gel Polish in Almond which is a very nice pale lavendar/grey.
That sounds like a lovely way to spend the evening dolly84I have a greyish Mavala nail varnish my Mum got me ages ago but it's not the kind of colour I would choose. I'm still debating whether to try it or take it to the cs.
A UU to report: Boots Cocoa Butter Body Lotion - HG. I've got Superdrug's version to try next because it was on offer, so I'm hoping it will be as good.Thank you to everyone who posts on here0 -
I had another uu from yesterday which I forgot about earlier:
Glamglow Mud Mask 15ml - I got 5 applications from this little tube, I really like this mask, it smells like tea and has leaves in it, it rinses of super easily and is quite gritty so doubles as an exfoliater when you rinse. My skin looks so much brighter and less congested after using it. I have another 15ml tube in the stash from my advent calendar.
and now for the ins
S&G Ooh La La set with 250ml Orangeasm shower gel, 50ml body butter and tonic spray.
Clinique Happy Set with 30ml perfume and body lotion.
Calvin Klein Eternity set with 30ml perfume and shower gel
Sanctuary Spa Dreamtime Luxury Bath Float 300ml x 2
Charles Worthington Overnight Healing Treatment
There are more to come in the next few days:oDebt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I have lots of new INs to report... (all gifted and all absolutely fabulous - I couldn't help myself but to try most of them already, so they're not sealed anymore) :
Body Shop mango body butter
Body Shop mango sugar scrub
Sanctuary Spa sugar scrub
Topshop nail polish blue-green
EOS strawberry lip balm
Spiced cranberry foam bath
Spiced cranberry hand and nail cream
Spiced cranberry hand and body lotion
Spiced cranberry shower gel
Spiced cranberry body scrub
UU
Body Shop Rainforest shampoo - WBA but thinking I should the banana range - my scalp has been a tiny bit flakey this month but may just be the weather and trying a couple of new shampoos inbetween.
GA
J&J Baby Shampoo - gave a bottle to my mum with a makeup brushes set - I only use this for washing my brushes. My OH has discovered this in the cupboard now though so my remaining bottle may get used faster than anticipated!
One Essie and one OPI nail polish - WNBA - these brands are just so rubbish in terms of opacity and are not chip-proof at all. One of my friends wanted to try them to see if they work for her. Think I've only got one OPI left, and the rest are all good (Rimmel, Seventeen, Barry M, etc).0 -

I'm baaaaaack!
Hello everyone. I hope your Christmases were wonderful!
Except you, roguey: I doubt that yours was at all. My sincere condolences.
I have a UU: Tresemme Deep Cleansing Shampoo.
WIBA? I had some highlights over Christmas, so really I need to get me some blonde-enhancing shampoo. Tresemme normally works really well for my hair, though.)
Hugs to all. Don't go too mad in the sales! Please call me 'Pickle'

Not been about in a while, sorry!
I have 2 UU and 2 (necessary!) IN
UU:
Body Shop rainforest radiance hair butter. WNBA. It makes my hair feel really weird. Kinda greasy/sticky? My Andrew Barton SOS mask works MUCH better AND is cheaper AND smells heaps nicer.
Body Shop honeymania bath melt. Might buy again some day, IDK. The smell is nice but it's nearly twice as expensive as their shower gels that I repurpose as bath stuff. This was the last of all my bath/shower gels which brings me on to...
In:
NSpa mango shower gel
NSpa passionfruit shower gel
Pretty much all the NSpa gels smell fab and they're nearly always on offer at ASDA.
Also, that's my first IN since the end of October. Currently -7 on this month (UU 9, IN 2)
Edit: actually another UU. Cucumber face mask sachet that I used up a while ago and didn't post about.Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100

I have successfully not actually achieved anything in the using it up stakes this year, I think I may actually go over last years start figures. But I have enjoyed the majority of the products I have used as well as discovering new ones, who would have ever thought I would grow to like masks (. Now own 34 sheet masks with another order on the way.). I have to say that I have enjoyed being on this thread, so many lovely ladies and it's lovely to see that some Can actually do as intended and use things up but I think this group is far more than that. I think I could be a long term member as I have a feeling that I will start the new year with good intentions but I don't seem to ever actually carry them out.0

Long term, some of the things you have bought could prove to be Holy Grails and help you to stick to one product, so although they didn't appear to be necessary at the time, maybe they will prove to be of worth.
You are right, this group isn't just about using up toiletries. The group has a lovely atmosphere, it's fine to go off topic, to share joys and sorrows and to offer support.
A few years ago I got a bit narked when a lot of posts were focused on buy, buy, buying beauty boxes and they seemed to take the thread over for a while.
I said my piece and upset a few people. Since then things have calmed down and I think there are specific threads for the boxes now too.
Boxes to me are almost the antithesis of NBT, you don't know what you are buying, so potentially it is all unnecessary! Also I have a fairly spartan regime so 90% of the box contents probably wouldn't be used by me. But I can appreciate the excitement of having surprises and having lovely Advent Calendars, I do understand the appeal, it's just not for me.
FWIW the 'what I bought, bought, bought' posts don't irk me now, as there are lots of posts that ARE on topic, but that wasn't the case back then.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I also got a beautifully boxed 200g B&H jojoba, silk and almond oil luxury soap from grandkids. The box is very glittery, may use it to safely store some of my Christmas ornaments.
I quite often repurpose Christmassy packaging in this way - a circular Sanctuary plastic see through gift set zip-case gifted a few years back now holds my Christmas decorative plates safely when in storage for the other 49 weeks of the year.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I re-use a lot of the boxes too. Some of them are used as drawer liners for little bits and bobs that get lost otherwise and I have a lovely glittery, silver box on my bedside cupboard with lipbalm and hand cream in.
I'm glad the buying posts don't annoy you anymore or I would be bugging the life out of you at the moment as I seem to have taken leave of my senses for a while.
I have a uu
L'occitane Shea Hand Cream 30ml - sad to see this go as it is lovely hand cream and the Shea scent is my favourite of theirs. No way I WBA on it's own due to the price, if I am to buy expensive hand cream it would probably be Crabtree & Evelyn otherwise a cheaper brand will suffice.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
