  • I am never straying from this thread again. Went over to another part of the board and have been given a complete kick in the teeth, for trying to help someone. Ugh.

I have a few sale ins:

Liz Earle Bergamot & Ginger Body Wash
Liz Earle Bergamot & Ginger Body Lotion
Liz Earle Limited Edition C&P Orange & Mint
    Liz Earle C&P 30ml

These were from the gorgeous Liz Earle shop in Leeds. I managed to come home without any further toiletries but there will be more damage when my online orders arrive.

  • I re-did my list for my toiletries and also made lists for my make-up and nail varnishes, so these are my current stash numbers:

    Toiletries 102
    Perfume 14
    Nail varnish 19
    Make-up 43

Storage at our house is limited so I really want to get all of these numbers down. I was doing really well with nail varnishes but they've crept back up again this year so I definitely won't buy any more until I've used most of these up.

I don't wear as much make-up nowadays as I used to, so my make-up stash is hardly decreasing. My Mum went through a phase of buying me lip glosses, eyeliner and eye shadow for every birthday and Christmas, so I ended up with loads! I'm still working my way slowly through them all.

I'm still ploughing my way through shower gels, body lotions and perfumes that have been gifted to me from various birthdays and Christmasses, so I will continue to work my way through them.
Thank you to everyone who posts on here :)

Had a bit of a clear out today when I realised that thanks to Christmas presents I can't actually fit anything in my drawers.
So I had to get rid of some bits.

    28/12/14

    UU –
    Benefit – Lip Plump *
PS Love Your Skin – Deep Facial Cleansing Wipes x 2
PS Love Your Skin – Oil Balancing Facial Cleansing Wipes x 2
Nivea – Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes
Finished the Nivea and started on a new pack. Noticed I'd finished the PS Primark ones as well. Wouldn't buy those again unless desperate as they can't be good for my skin!

Sarah Chapman – Skinesis Skin Ton Perfecting Booster
Noticed a difference in my skin after using this for a few days. Unfortunately it's so expensive (and I only had a little sample size) so I don't think I'll be able to buy it again.

    TA –
    Hoof – Foot Polish
This is for use on dry feet and I don't really get on with it.
    Olay – Refreshing Face Wash
This burst when I was away visiting family for Christmas and I couldn't bring it back with me. Le sigh.
Botanics – 5 Minute Deep Conditioning Hair Mask
This was seriously old and I'm pretty sure it had gone bad. Chucked.
    Maybelline – Dream Matte Mousse
Sample size from a magazine. Wasn't my colour.

    GA –
Botanics – Gentle Cleansing Cream 'All Bright' x 2
Botanics – Softening Cleanser '82% Organic'
New to this money saving lark. Any tips greatly received.

It's my own silly fault for posting in relation to something I know and do very well, and swimming against a tide of people who perhaps, well.. don't. That is the most humble way I could phrase it. :o

Anyway, anything to keep my mind off everything else I have to do. I can avoid almost anything if I try. Thinking of which, I accidentally bought lots of toiletries from latest in beauty. It's a terrible side effect from trying to clear up my inbox by unsubscribing from every sales email that comes through. I end up reading them and occasionally buying. So there will be another 10+ INs in the New Year...
  • I've been hiiding folks, just been running out of spoons recently.

I have 2 UUs, Nivea Pearl and Beauty Deo 250ml WBA HG and Dove natural touch roll on 50ml WNBA didn't get on with the scent really. strange for them both to run out together though

*hugs* to Rougey, I've been thinking of you xx

Roguey, I can well imagine what happened, from the tone of many threads on here. Some people...
I've managed to track down most of the nice threads I think.
UU of Lacura Hydro Urea (5%) hand cream, and of Avon Naturals Cranberry and Cinnamon shower gel. . WIBA? Hand cream yes, the shower gel isn't made any more. Waah, as it was a lovely winter scent.
GA of A!di Aussie lookey-likey conditioner and A!di L'Oreal Elvive black & pink conditioner lookey likey to friend who had run out.
Gift ins of a M&S 'Downton Abbey' gift set, body wash, bath elixir and body lotion all 75ml.
Nivea gift set of full size shower gel, roll on and body cream in a practical but pretty toiletries bag
Aldi Lacura 50ml 10 in 1 day cream, has a SPF so will definitely be used, hooray. Pleased about this as serum I use (really a cream/lotion) had nearly all gone, this is a bit lighter but used with eye cream and the true serum should be fine.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

Ghrr just lost a full post.

TA L'Oreal Anti Redness Primer. As I'm off work I decided to give this a go. It comes out green and as you work into the skin it turns into a skin tone. Unfortunately this tone was 4 shades darker than my own. It looked like I was just back from a month in the sun.

Also a TA of a M & S Nail polish which had gone funny.

    I have a uu

Elemis Lip Revive - this is a lot like Palmers Dark Chocolate & Mint lip balm but about twice the price. It is nice but very expensive and during warm weather it turned into an oil, I WBA to take advantage of a GWP which is how I came about owning this one and the other one which is still in my stash;).

I had a lovely bath last night with one of my new Aromatherapy Associates bath oils, so far I have tried Inner Strength and last night Light Relax, they are both so nice and very scented. After my bath I had a cup of Whittards Dreamtime tea which is really lovely and a nice change to hot chocolate, I was very relaxed by the end of all that.

Painted my nails last night with my new Barry M Gel Polish in Almond which is a very nice pale lavendar/grey.

My Gok Body Butter almost finished last night too but there is probably about enough for my arms and I just couldn't bear to slather it on and waste it as I love it so much. I hope to be able to declare some sale ins today if I can collect my Boots order and the postman brings something.
