  • 2 INs for me today. Spotted some Aquafresh mouthwash that I use on offer at just 95p so thought I should get a couple. I forgot that I already had quite a few already but at least I won't have to buy any for ages :)

My main aim before Christmas is to clear some more shower gels and bottles of perfume in case I get bought some as gifts but time is running out
Thank you to everyone who posts on here :)

Hi ladies. I had all good intention of catching up on the thread but I don't think I'll have time. Hope all are well and getting in the mood for the festivities. Our break was lovely although the place that we stayed at last weekend was very spooky and I'm not sure whether we will return there. We stayed in Carnforth from Tuesday night to Saturday morning. Had to return home on Saturday as Emma was working so MrM and I went to the Trafford Centre (chaos!) as he had a birthday voucher for Las Iguanas. We then spent Saturday night to Monday morning at Thurnham Hall near Lancaster.

Went into Lancaster on Friday and only bought a tube of Norwegian Formula hand cream as I lost the tube of Dove hand cream that I had open. Still haven't found it.

At the Trafford Centre on Saturday I didn't buy anything but MrM bought myself and Emma a bottle of Philosophy shower gel each as Debenhams had a 10% off promotion. Plus they were selling the new Iced Pumpkin fragrance which smelt divine so these are going away to Santa. We were given a lovely goody bag each as well full of sample sachets of their skincare.

    So UUs whilst away:-

Tube of Weleda body wash - citrusy one. Was nice. Would have been nicer on a body puff but didn't take one with me. This was half a tube left from a Birch Box Emma received some time this year. WNBA - there are other body washes I prefer.

5ml bottle of L'occitane Almond Oil. Do like this product anyway. Was good to get this UU as I think we've had it ages.

Dove antiperspirant. Think this may be my new HG. Had already replaced this.

Am pretty sure there was something else but can't think what.

    Take care everyone. x

2 INs for me today - sent for testing so free - eye lotion (not sure what I've to do with this :o) and full size shower gel.
Will try them both later. :)

Had a haircut today through a local groupon offer, bit disappointed with it, a bit too short and didn't style it. :( I can just tied it back in a pony tail but the side hairs keep escaping.

Also cut open a Boots Expert handcream last night, there was loads in it, even though I'd been storing it upside down, will last another week I think

Off to look out holiday stuff as booked a last minute break away to the Canaries this weekend, away for 11 days and it takes in Christmas too :D

The Body Shop raspberry shower gel. As I've said before, I always repurpose this as smelly bubble baths (and they do smell SO GOOD) because I super do not like showers. So. Yeah. WBA. That was actually my last TBS shower gel so need to get on that, although I do have some honeymania bubble bath melt left.

  • Morning ladies :)
    Thanks Sundaysgirl!

One UU for me so far:
Philosophy raspberry glazed shower gel 495ml WIBA? It was lovely to try, smelled like raspberry cakes! Probably wouldn't go out my way to buy it again, it's expensive for what it is.

I've cut open my sample moisturiser tube- there's loads still left, I'm not sure why samples (this is 7ml) last me so long!
Also hoping to finish off a body moisturiser this week, it's been ages since I used one up!
    Have a good day everyone!

VALM - I love anything spooky, I thoroughly enjoy having the living daylights frightened out of me.

    I have two uu

    Gok Gorgeous Bath Essence 50ml
    Gok Gorgeous Body Wash 50ml

sniff, sniff, these are so lovely and now we can't get them anymore. I still have other things from the range and am rationing the super gorgeous body butter, my skin feels and look amazing after using it.

ahh you do the opposite to me :) - I swap bubble baths into shower gels because for some reason there's always more bubble bath in a bottle than shower gel :p

Used the Liz Earle soothing eye lotion test from Alba this morning, OMG I do not like the smell, :( smells like it's gone off:eek:

Since I started to try and use as many potions / lotions / talcs / sprays etc as possible every time I have a wash/shower I've come to understand why blokes complain the fairer sex take an age to get ready !!! I used to shower, hairwash, dry and dress in around 15 minutes - but haven't managed it in under 30 minutes the last couple of weeks

Roll on [strike]2015[/strike] [strike]2016[/strike] [strike]2017[/strike] 2018 when I may finally be down to only the bare minmums I feel I need on a regular basis ;)

In the meantime, I've identified two PRCP items/ranges.

One is my (could barely bring myself to pay for it) 0pium EDT which I store in a cool dark drawer and only bring out for 'specials' - so once or twice a year. I've decided that at that rate it's going to go off however well I care for it, so I will use it on Saturdays when OH comes over. I already have heaps of points on my B00ts card, so have been debating the 'need a mortgage to buy it' shower gel that goes with it despite my shower gel stocks, on the basis that the EDT costs too much to mess around mixing it with gels that have a different fragrance  (would still leave me over £10 worth of points 'cos I almost never shop there - the points are pretty much all from glasses and contact lenses over the last couple of years)

I also have quite a lot of soap, shower gel, body satin and talc (plus an almost full EDT) from an Av0n range that was discontinued longer ago than I care to try and recall, and were hoarded because I love the scent and they used to be my everyday items. Those are going to be used on days I go visiting family or pottering around more than the local grocery shops - so basically days I go out in the car (for a trip that doesn't involve the gym), which still isn't very often in real terms but at least defines usage of them whilst I'm still using up the standard stuff I also have in large quantities on the other days.

(I also have several talcs and an EDT from the very similar range that replaced it which has also now been discontinued).

    Hi ladies,

I have a fair bit of catching up to do, work is crazy and I have lost my way a little

    UU:

6/297. Sanctuary Body Butter 100ml - HG, WDBA but more stashed

7/298. L'Occitane Divine Ceam 50ml - LHJ, lasted me 6 months almost! Nice enough but maybe too rich for my skin and crazy expensive (£72 :o) so WNBA but would happily use samples.

8/299. Dior Instant Eye Make-up Remover 125ml - I really liked this, it wasn't greasy as some are, though felt it wasn't as effective as it should have been given the price - I sometimes had smudging after a shower the next morning. WNBA full price but WMBA if on a glitch as this was. I'm out of eye make-up remover now - any suggestions on a cheap(er) replacement?

    Now for the INs :o:o:o

1/217. Aveda Invati Exfoliating Shampoo 10ml
2/218. Aveda Invati Scalp Revitaliser 10ml
3/219. Aveda Invati Thickening Conditioner 10ml
4/220. Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair 10ml
    All of these were freebies.

5/221. Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Sport Solution 1.5ml
6/222. Kiehl's Powerful Strength Line Reducing Treatment 5ml
    7/223. Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate 4ml
All GWPs with a small pressie I bought for my DH, the other samples were suitable for him so will be GA.

I've wanted to replace my PCMC for ages, but couldn't justify the expense given that I had my Divine Cream on the go. I've realised that I have no moisturisers suitable for night use now, and then along came a great offer so I caved! So I have a 30ml pot of each of the PCMC day and night creams, plus some hydra-gel masks, winging their way to me - all for £53, as I had a £20 off code. Pricey still but a bargain as I was planning to buy after Christmas anyway. Not so good for my numbers though... will count it once it arrives.

    I'm at 175 items... 25 to use!

My two favourite removers are Lancome B-facil and Gatineau Floracil, both are fairly expensive, but do not upset my sensitive skin, so I have stuck with them for ages, rather than possible waste money on trying new ones and having to get rid of them, I will be interested to see if you receive any recommendations:D

Great deal with the PCMC and the night cream:money:
