All 3 are from CP Plus. It controls the parking at the hospital I work in.
If the first one was only 'just over a month ago' how can you be outside the time to appeal, seeing as the first one was a windscreen PCN. The Notice to Keeper can only have been sent after day 28 so surely you are still in time to challenge the letter as keeper? Please state the dates of the one you have had letters for. Date of PCN and dates of letters and who each letter is from.

I despair that you must have wasted your time reading OLD (two years old or older) threads and thought you should ignore this, when if you'd just clicked one click off an old thread, to page one of the forum, and read current advice you would have known we changed the advice two years ago! Never read old threads, how on earth do people not notice the date on them? Eeek, it's like reading the football results from 2011 and thinking 'plastic' fans fave, Man Utd are still the top of the table team.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry my mistake, I confused the tickets. The first parking charge was issued 3 and half months ago. I have received the following letters:
    1 - CP Plus - 2 months ago
    2 - CP Plus - 1 month ago
    3 - DRP - 3 weeks ago
    4 - DRP - last week

Given the time frame what's the best course of action now?

    Name me as driver

    That'll fsck them!

    :D

    Or, this still applies. :)

Anything that says May take court action / Recommend our clients to take court action is all bluster and can be safely ignored.

The NEWBIES thread covers all your questions.

Appeal anyway like the NEWBIES thread tells you to (second top of this forum); just use the first appeal template in that sticky thread. You may not get POPLA offered but who cares, the challenge is also written as a 'drop hands offer' and a 'Notice of Cancellation' so it serves several purposes even if CP Plus ignore it.

Obviously ignore DRP as the NEWBIES thread tells you to, post #4 of it. We don't need to discuss that letter chain yet again...ever!

  • I've had two of those for a parking outside marked bay.

Been through all the appeals which were denied.

As I've been doing all the correspondence they are pursuing me for the debt, I don't even drive!

Should I ignore these letters and wait if court papers arrive or just pay? I think I know the answer.

I've never said who was driving, so they don't have that information. It'd be quite amusing to waste their time in court by standing up and saying no one was driving. Can they compel anyone to admit?

    Any advice would be welcome.

You need your own thread to avoid confusion. Have you actually managed to lose at POPLA? Don't answer that here please; explain what has occurred in a new thread.

If I appeal and they don't get back and I get summoned to court, that's going to cost me a lot more and affect my credit rating, right? Is it better if I just pay off before the deadline?

Sorry I know I may sound like I'm not listening but the reason I ask is because I'm very concerned of my credit rating being affected and having a black mark on my record.
