Wow!!! what sleepness nights you must suffer at this time of year OP, the people of Syria would love such a "problem".
Get a life......0 -
I have trees; lots of them. Last winter alone, I planted over 200.
Some of my trees grow beside a council road. I have to look after those carefully, because if I don't, the council will come along, cut off the bits they don't like and present me with a bill.
Life is not always fair, but as you say, it's no big deal.0 -
My sixpence worth: go on the council's website and fill in a form explaining that you're concerned about the possibility of someone falling over on a slippery pavement.
I did something similar and lo and behold there was a street cleaner along within the week
Maybe it was just luck timing and it would have happened anyway, but either way it may work for you too....

It's more the rubbish that I'm thinking of actually. Although it's much better than it was, when black bags were used it was terrible on bin days.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

All the rubbish from the schoolkids blows into my garden, so I take care of that
Every week in Brighton I see crap everywhere, black bags torn open. Must get tedious clearing all that up all the time.0
