Choosing a start date when switching providers

Hi guys,
I see that plusnet are doing a special blackfriday deal where the whole year of the internet is free ... with £75 cashback AND £10.50 from quidco!!!!!!!! :j:j:j
Anyway, I am currently with talk talk and unfortunately, my contract runs until the 23rd of this month. I was about to pay for the plusnet broadband but it doesn't seem to give me the option as to when I can start my contract with them.
The only 2 options given to me were:
Credit or Debit Card
Recommended for a speedy activation
and
Direct Debit
This will delay your order by 3 to 5 days, whilst your instruction is set up
Any ideas if I can actually take advantage of this offer today and specific a start day later in the month? Or would I need to phone them ?

I don't think you get a choice.
When shopping round for a possible move from Sky and thinking I had to give 4 weeks' notice (it's actually 2), I discussed this with Tesco cc and was told that changeover would be 14(?) days from agreement, so if I didn't want to pay twice for two weeks, would need to give my 4 week's notice then book Tesco 2 weeks later.0 -
If your contract runs til 23rd of this month you can give the 30 day termination which sfaik all ISPs require anytime. You should ask for a MAC but I'm not sure if it will either be available or used with a move from LLU but just ask anyway.
Your Plusnet can be ordered and you'll get the deal. The install date is out of their hands as they will rely on Openreach to do the physical cabling change.
You will end up double paying for a short period. That can be avoided by careful timing but at the risk of a gap in service as Openreach will give a date but don't always deliver. With something that needs any physical change I'd personally not take the chance as Openreach are a complete shower.0
