If you want me to have a look, download FRST from the link below and save it to your Desktop.firefox1956 wrote: »every time I connect to the internet with either Google, Firefox or IE I still get loads of pop up ads.
LINK
Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system - 32bit or 64bit.
- Right click frst.exe and choose "Run as administrator"
- Click Yes to disclaimer.
- Click the Scan button.
- It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (Desktop).
- The first time the tool is run it generates another log Addition.txt - also located in the same directory.

It would have been quicker to format your hard disk and reinstall Windows. That will definitely get rid of nasties and will take a few hours factoring in getting all the updates and putting back any other programmes.
If you create a disk image at this point then restoring the computer is even quicker in the future.0 -
Update......
Thanks to everybody for all their help.
I have now finally got rid of all this cr*p......
In the end the fix was so simple.
I downloaded ADWCleaner again, but before running it I CLOSED any browser I had open.
ADWCleaner found the cr*p immediately & removed it !!0
