Hopefully I'm on the right board.
Is it possible to have a simple, not too expensive, outdoor camera that will show me who is at the front door? That's all I need, just want to know who is there before deciding to answer the door. Don't need it to record, just to give me the picture. Preferably something wireless (don't particularly want to have to fix wires from porch through hall to living room).
What would you view the image on? Is there one with it's own little monitor so I wouldn't necessarily need my TV or computer on?
Is there one simple enough for a technophobe?
If such a thing exists, can you point me in the right direction please. I've googled but not yet found what I'm talking about

Thanks, I never thought of that sort of thing. I'll have a look and see if there's something suitable. I have a porch with UPVC glass door and windows down to half height so would need something quite slim to go on UPV door frame. Thanks for the suggestion
