I don't read the 'witty & amusing' diaries. I admire people who can write in that way but I'm not reading for entertainment so much as mutual support.

I don't want to bore my real-life friends to tears with details of my debt, but it's always on my mind so it's a relief to have somewhere to chat openly about it.

Right, I'm not going to get into a slanging match about this as it's not my style - but if anyone has anything to say to me, I am quite happy for it to be said publicly. I have just received a rather nasty PM (I wont name names), from someone who is apparently slating me privately to 'spare my embarrassment'.....

I thought I got on well with people on here, but if the price of this friendship is this kind of hassle, then it's just not worth it.

Oh Snaggles - my god - ignore any small minded people who can't say things in the open. I am sorry you've received this PM- I know that lots of people find you inspiring and a real help when feeling down. I have to say that I am not sure what people go on about when talking about cliques etc but then I just barge into others conversations quite a lot!! I certainly have never found you to be anything but supportive and friendly.

That goes for pretty much everyone on these boards - I have been fortunate to only experience a few dodgy posters (who end up leaving as they are trolls anyway). So thank you all and please to those who think it's appropriate to send horrid PM's - why???

I have found you to be nothing but supportive and i did follow the journey of your baby with interest. To me you are approachable and ,even though i do not know you, likeable. Take no notice of these morons.

That's rather sad, that a thread as innocuous as this should end up with people getting upset.

Please remember this board is for help and support. There's no reason to be nasty to anyone. Yes we all have our disagreements, but we can all work them out in a kind and understanding manner.

Most disagreements are just due to problems in communication - I feel we are all, after all, singing from the same song sheet...
