Being to wonder why I on here just to report my spends- making a bed on the naughty step.

Decided last night my hair looked like a cave dwellers. Did get it cut few months back but wasn't a great job. Went to old hairdressers today treated myself washed and cut. Back to my normal curly self love it worth £20. Then made an appointment for highlights as it is God awful black color which just ages me- xmas pressie moi.

Then shopping rabbit food, more hay, sawdust. Few food items for me another £20 onto cc. Cash strapped till payday.

Staying in mince pie and wine=happy me

  • Calling, I am so sorry but I laughed at your window cutting wires :rotfl:

Today I put a little glass snowglobe on the top of my window, as it is a sash and has a shelflike bit mid way up... I then proceeded to knock it off, somehow INSIDE the radiator. It then smashed everywhere.

    Shenanigans

I have only been cutting the ivy in 5 - 15 minute goes. I did cut about 8 sackfuls before I went in hospital. That bin goes out this week so want it full and will do same for next few weeks, little bits at a time as there is nothing much else to go in the bin, have got through to the dead bit at one end of the wall and can pull and snap some of it off. Not going up any steps.

Found if I put the crutches through the handles on the bin, they don't fall over. Usually stand between two bins so I have something to hold on to if I need it. Only been to the post box and the charity bin across the road so a little walk up and down the yard is good every now and then - I sit down in between and then after a while I go back upstairs for a lie down.

  • Spendy day yesterday as went to the cinema to see Mockingjay (very good, surprisingly dark though, can only assume they're going for a "darkest before the dawn" type effect) and went to Morrisons to buy a few bits. Christmas shopping today for last few bits... bring on payday next week!

calling14, I'll join you on the naughty step this month - forgot to check in yesterday, but in my defence, that was because my post cinema nap didn't end until 9pm, and then I was still too tired so went to bed. ROLL. ON. THE. XMAS. BREAK!!!!

Was meant to go to Christmas fair, budget £10, but the day got hijacked!
Mr T delivered £51 as planned, and then my friend and I had a fabulous day out, changed some too small trousers for baby clothes, and got £41 of YS and bargains in Mr T again. So total spend £92, I have updated signature.
Actually £7 of £41 was a gift and so I will take this off again.
Had a marvelous walk round a garden centre and they had made a real effort for the children with polar bears and a stunning display of trees. My birds are now enjoying £1 of reduced meal worms and seeds. Got some half price bird boxes as presents and feel very smug as it is like a pressie for the birds as well!
Got some new pillows ready for the visitors expected next few weeks. It makes the beds look better aswell as they have been pillowless for last few months.

Happy day and frugalish too. Even better went ot visit my old lady and she is willing to travel to DS house for XMAS day as long as I get her home in good time. So joy all around.

Now to batch cook the purchases and freeze.

Hi everyone :) Sorry been MIA for a while :o The little fella well and truly was floored with the cold he caught from me, I felt so sorry for him and guilty :o Well a naughty balcony is needed for me-I bought two much needed sofas :o:o:o Basically the ones we have had endured years of abuse from the cat and my youngest growing up and they embarrassingly needed changing  The ones I had my eye on would have set me back over 1k. So when said sofa came down to 249 each-I pounced and they are coming tomorrow :) I have bought them on my everyday spends credit card which is always cleared each month, so it won't set me back on my debt free fight :D

Some great achievements throughout the year. Mine are

    1. Not feeling guilty for saying NO anymore
    2. Putting myself first
    3. Taking on a very stressful set of extra responsibility and doing it brilliantly
    4. Sticking to my debt clearing fight that I started 2nd September 2013
    5. Realising the only expectations that I need to concern myself with are the ones I set for myself!

A lot of these stem from always pleasing others at the cost of neglecting myself. It made me very unhappy and refusing to do it, made me a much better person all round :T Take care everyone and enjoy the rest of Sunday :)

Great achievements traveller, and I have a feeling there will be many of us who are guilty of neglecting ourselves, and say yes to often.

Today should be a SFD, I am still in my pyjamas :) Sorry for the brevity of my post last night, I managed to give myself food poisoning. Luckily I woke up fine so I have been doing work all morning in my pyjamas, whilst I try and rehydrate. Must get some housework done in a minute, before some dog walking - who knew adult like was so interesting!

Ordered my last Christmas present online the other day so I am rather pleased with myself, although I haven't written any cards or wrapped any presents. Oh and just remembered I haven't put my Christmas tree up yet. I am going to do that before I do the hoovering...better get to it.
