I see that lynnejk has added savings from things bought at reduced price (brilliant savings there lynnejk:T). Not sure whether to do this as just about everything I buy is reduced, we practically live on 'whoopsies' and other stickered food for instance:o.

A bit worried I might be counting some things twice.
I think you just have to decide to be consistent in how you record your earnings. The way I do it is as follows

If it is something I planned to buy and I get a bargain I add it - Livingston was mainly Chrissy presents

If it is a service I use and I make a saving (eg broadband) I add it

If I do a survey on a site that I've used for ages and know they pay out ok I add it when I earn it (I keep a list)

    Same with scan sites

If I get a till spit on non-household stuff I add it when I use it - eg B**ts

All household savings, YS, whoopsies, movs etc I do not count on here because they come off my grocery challenge (GC) and you can't count the same money twice

Anything else I count when I have in the bank (eg interest/cashback) or use it.

Then earnings such as extra hours and mystery shops I add, less any expenses, and if I get savings on things like petrol which are not GC

I know this won't work for everyone but I find it ok. If anyone wants to ask for clarification on anything then please ask. HTH

Bank interest and cashback today of £11.91 Santi ;)

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

I'm going to have a good think about what to record and when. I don't make many savings on anything except groceries because I'm too skint to buy much else:o. I don't do the Grocery Challenge (maybe I should) as I've only just started dipping my toe into challenges so could probably count whoopsies etc.

If I request payout for surveys by BACS or Paypal I'll count it when it reaches my bank account. I'm not going to count vouchers until I spend them as they're the things that might get counted twice:o

    Thanks again.

Well it has taken me a couple of days to start on December. I am adding £5 reward, £20 discount on a capture card for DS and £7.50 discount on a craft kit for a present and a half price Emma Bridgewater plate for a friend, saving £10
Make £10 per day in July £45.48/£310
    June £232.66, May £310.36, April £310.19, March £287.32, February £250.18, January £257.24
    Swagbucks in 2015 £65/£150
  • Hi everyone
Just sold my son' s old bike for £20 which I'm really pleased about
  • Nothing to add to total today but I have returned a coat which was a " want" rather than a need (£58 un-spent) & have made an arrangement to sell some stuff on eBay for a friend on the basis of a very generous 50/50 split. I plan to do some listing tomorrow (not my favourite activity but it's a means to an end)...
Shifting my energy for 2020 :heart::heart:
  • Congratulations to everyone who's posted successes already this month:T. I've had a few:
    • £10 off shopping at Morrisons using Daily Mail Reward Club vouchers. Actually got £20 off but had already counted some of the vouchers when I received them. Not going to do that again, will count when actually spent. I get easily confused:o
    • £6.19 in Paypal redeemed from a survey site. Going to be more selective with surveys, they take too much time for very little reward as I seem to be screened out a lot after already answering loads of questions:(.
    • £31.62 profit after fees etc. for selling books on Amazon.
    Total so far: £47.81

Aw shucks - Happy to help and good luck with making money. BTW the surveys can pay well if you pick and choose but you will still have to put up with lots of out-screening.

    HEADS UP
It seems the people with the pine trees might be recruiting !!

Hope you all have a thrilling Thursday
