Hey Everyone

Glad I made you all smile with my Swimsuit Malfunction...LoL
Fortunately I now have a new one...AND it's a lined one so hopefully if I get any holes in the future the Lining will protect my dignity until I can get a new one!! LoL
Been a rough Week both Potting-wise and emotionally...Lots of stuff going on right now and finding it difficult to keep everything in that metaphorical box....but I'll get there
Anyway...Managed to Pot £1.50 this morning...so that's not bad....May be able to Pot a little more later on as I'm off out Food Shopping so might have a little leftover...
*Hugs* to anyone that needs them....Chat to you later xXx

Morning all.
Early start for me today. I'm away on holiday tomorrow so I have lots of last-minute things to get on with. Mainly garden-related, you know, mow the lawn, plant out the young vegetable plants, etc. so that they aren't overtaking the greenhouse by the time we get home.
Also remembered last night that we needed to book airport car parking and travel insurance  I'm about to get right onto that now.
Been potting slowly away. I hve to admit I have lost the early enthusiasm I had and it is either special money like my fleabbay sales or bits and bobs. I will make sure I renew my enthusiasm when I get back from holiday but for now, I have travel insurance to sort out - via Quidco of course!Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

Haven't a clue how much I might save with a few bits here and there so I won't set a target but will just aim to stash away a few quid. I used to save my coppers as a kid and ended up with hundreds of pounds over the years. See how we go!
It's never too late to join us, Pollygarter. A very warm welcome to you! It's lovely to have you with us. :grinheart Have fun saving and enjoy the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on the 2nd post of page 1. Please read through post 1as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 5th Nov.

Another gold star for you for a very full and informative welcome post, Lynne, many thanks. :staradmin
Hi all SPCers! I hope you've all had a super week and have been able to enjoy some sunny though windy days, if not then I hope you have a really lovely weekend - and sunshine!
Take care please, everyone, and love and {{{hugs}}} to all those who are poorly or who aren't on top of their game right now, I hope it won't be long before you are.
Thank you so much, Helen, your thoughts are very much appreciated. Keep up the swimming as it releases the endorphins that give you a real feel good factor, and even if you don't feel like it, do it anyway! After all, you never finish an exercise session of any sort and think "I wish I hadn't done that" well not unless you're Modesty perhaps!!! :rotfl: Good saving however much you manage, it still helps a lot!!
May has been a good enough potting month though, so not all bad!! I'm hoping to hit my "target" in June and surprised really as I haven't really focussed as much this year - it has been much more relaxed. Little by little and regular surely works for myself.
Maybe, just maybe, I'll get that "GRAND" again?? It's not a target though..................... yet!
Well, you've put your thoughts here on the thread, Lynsey, time now to 'go for it' and live up to your name of the past! You CAN do it! :j
You're spending and saving your winnings wisely, 32b3, what more could anyone suggest.
It's lovely to see you popping in when 'ere you can, Rosy, and great news on all you've banked so far!!
Very many thanks, scotmumof3, she's still betwixt and between at the moment, but hopefully will 'fall down' on a decision soon, time is precious where treatment is concerned.
Hi Sue, best wishes to you and family. (((Hugs)))
Just potted £8.80 from my purse.
I think I might need another scan on my back now, was getting two dogs out of car and they saw a C.A.T! Ouch! Flat on my back, stick waving in the air! Should have been filmed for you've been framed. :rotfl: Not that I was laughing at the time.
Oh dear, Modesty, if your escapade was anything like the picture my mind sees then it sounds pretty horrendous. I hope you're soon feeling much better and that you haven't damaged too much other than your pride. Take CARE!!
Best wishes to your DGS with his apprenticeship, wise lad. Thanks for your wishes too.
Yes jennypennysaver, it helps if cash is actually PUT IN the pot.
Hence from where comes our name. Save well.
Good luck with your car costs, Ruth, pricey blighters for sure, but where would we be without them!
Good to see you, GAP, and well done with the new tin saving, who cares about a dent, though cram it full enough and it might help to push it out a little!
All the best with the diet, Dragon Lily, may your weight loss be your pot's gain!! You CAN do it and keep clear of diabetes, we're all rooting for you! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Consistent saving, Kerry, you do so well with keeping that up.
Have a wonderful holiday, chickadee, relax while you're away and come back to us with renewed saving vigor!
Another £10er in the pot and 10p roadkill!!Have a really lovely WEEKEND, Potters! Keep filling those pots! :j

Thanks a lot the encouragement Sue :T It's not been too bad for the first week. I think having something to motivate me like the health scare is good. I've lost 5lbs this week:j I'm not expecting that each week but I do have about 2.5sts to lose and the first few weeks tend to see the biggest weight loss. One or two pounds a week after that would be great. I would love to manage a stone by the time I go on holiday at the end of June.
Potting £2 coin and 50p today.
Lovely day but very windy!!! Tomorrow the forecast promises sun but not this wind - HOORAY! Have a great weekend everyone.:staradmin Star from Sue-UU

Morning everyone hope you are all well

Potted a couple of pounds plus shrapnel last night when I got home. We were at a fundraiser for the MS society and I won a £10 Tesc* gift card so I plan on using that for some shopping and potting the £10 I would have spent (that's the plan anyway
