Just raided husband's pockets to relieve him of the weight in coins (purely selfless of course) and potted £2.38 in change pot and £9 in the £ tin. Quite a nice potting weekend :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Morning all, hope you enjoyed Mother's Day yesterday - even the male members!!

supermum1988 - welcome to both MSE and this thread - good luck with your savings.

Potted 2 x £1 coins - target for this week is only £10. But, my cashback should reach £25 soon and that will be cashed in, changed and potted.

Enjoy the mild weather, I've noticed a few neighbours have started gardening - good signs. Fingers crossed for a warm / hot dry summer.

I'm so annoyed. I need to subtract £5.14 from my total please. I had to bust it open as my bank declined my payment at the shop this morning. I had funds in my account but apparently the dodgy shop tried taking payment by bypassing the PIN which my bank flagged and temporarily blocked my card. Grrrrrr.

Anyhow, I shall definitely have to set another tin aside to put money in case of emergencies.

    Hi everyone
Real Life is getting in the way of me posting on threads so I'm going to bow out of most of them. I'll keep following your progress, and I'll keep potting and look forward to declaring with everyone else in November.
Thanks very much to all the virtual friends I've made on here, it's been fun, and you've helped me to save loads! :D
Thanks especially to Sue for this inspiring thread :T
    Cheers
