    Who is her TV supplier?

I'm sorry but what has this to do with the original question, please?

As you mentioned it I thought it had some relevance.

I would be inclined to offer them £40 for the work done .
That is if the TV now has reception that you are happy with .
If they will not accept the payment then contact trading standards via your local council .

As she is tied in to her TV supplier for 18 months, she obviously does not want this. Can anyone please tell me how I can advise her. As I said, she's a disabled single mum and can do without the hassle!

Echo others, what TV service is she subscribed to? If her signal is coming from the aerial then its Freeview for which there is no subscriptions let alone an 18 month lock in.

Personally, Id call their bluff and say its fine for them to come back an move the aerial again and reinstate the holes they presumably made to resite the aerial. She at least now knows what needs to be done and can get a phone quote from other companies to come later in the same day that the first one moves it (if they do)

Probably TalkTalk, they supply a 'free' Youview box but it comes with a 18 month (new customers) or 24 months (existing customers) contract.

I think she would favour this option. Should she mention Trading Standards in her letter or just offer to pay £40?

Surely, this is not the point! She only asked for a quotation, not for the work to be done!

Then either pay the money to them for the work that has been done, or let them come back and put things back to the way they were prior to the work being done.

Yes the on-demand but Freeview through an aerial.

But the freeview is just freeview and not part of a subscription
