Never been to M&S

Oh I love it when I have enough cash to do a bit of grocery shopping at M&S, or it is a special occasion to get the meal for 2. The food is lovely ad lasts longer than my local supermarket.
My sister does all her Christmas shopping at M&S and order's her turkey etc for a collection date nearer the day.
We have a small selection of food produce at my local petrol station that I sometime peruse when I am there filling up.0 -
I would spend it all on their crispy bacon from the deli section... Mmm
Yes, all of it
It's the only one that is actually crisp and not like salted cardboard

You can sell gift cards on ebay. They usually sell for close to face value.0 -
Not sure whether OP is really wanting advice on how to spend the voucher wisely or enjoying knocking M&S and stereotype of their shoppers. Could do worse than spend it all on pants!!:rotfl:
I could spend it easily in Food Hall on some quality stuff for the freezer whether that would be fresh meats or decent chilled/ready meals or the meal for £10 stuff: all good IMO.0 -

There is one in freshney place.I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -
Well, my mum swears by their turkey crowns for Christmas and gets their meat for posh lunches with all the family- she used to use the local butcher but he sold out to a cheaper supplier and now she sticks to M&S. She takes a lot of pride in her cooking and has shopped in a variety of supermarkets but saves M&S for best when it comes to meats.
In my own experience, I really rate the fresh fruit. It seems to always be decent quality- I don't tend to need to sift through each and every item the way I do if I shop at other supermarkets. I can't often afford it but I would rate it as value for money (if you have the money).
Clothes wise, I would say the quality is decent, with some things not as decent as they used to be but not bad quality and definitely above Primark standard! I would say try stuff on first as if something doesn't fit right (eg too long/short/etc) no matter what the quality it will be a waste.
If all else fails, look through the technology and homeware sections in the sales and then either stock up on things like duvet sets and crockery and so on or sell everything on ebay?0 -
Chicken Kievs, the fresh breast fillet ones, and the flat iron steaks. Yum!0

Used £50 M and S vouchers a couple of years ago. Amazing high food prices. Had to force myself to use them up.0

Their meat is of excellent quality - bit pricey but worth it.
Veg & fruit - at this time of year fair to middling and expensive compared to Sainsburys.
Bread counter - great selection of breads and rolls.
Wines - I'm no expert but can usually find something decent to drink.
I always buy their loo paper - it's pretty.
Biscuits and chocolates - this time of year particularly they have a great selection.
And don't forget you can always buy staples like coffee, tea, flour, sugar etc.
In fact, I could spend £100 in twenty minutes, easy!0
