    Try https://www.tigsource.com. It's all about Independent games, most of which are free. Also try the "external links" on the right hand side of that page, there are some good sites there.

    There are also some of the old Command & Conquer games that have been made available free by the original publishers to promote later versions. It took a few web searches to figure out how to get the old Win95-era programs to install correctly in Windows 7, but they work great -- again, both online and offline.

    if you are after old school games google MAME, this is an emulator. Now probably also on that page are the thousands of games available for it.

    I have played any in about 15 years, so no longer have links

    yes thanks i got trackmania a nice game , now looking for a better controller for it something thats better than the laptops arrow keys ,
