Where shall I start?
Last year I tried to cancel my contract with vodafone, but was sweet talked into taking out a new contract on an iphone 4 with them, and was told, because I work for a particular company I will get 20% off, job done, I happily accepted.
There was some bother with getting the discount applied, but finally it was done.
A few months ago I realised my bill was quite a bit higher, I put it down to going over on internet etc, but figured I best call them, they are now charging me at full price, and told me the discount was only for 12 months, this was never stated.
I logged a complaint on 29/10/14 and was promised a call back within 5 working days.
I called them back 6 days later as I heard nothing, the young girl sounded concerned and promised a call back within 5 days. She also did NOT go through data protection.
I then called back AGAIN a week later and was promised a call back that afternoon, and guess what? Nothing.
I have not contacted them as I have not had time but am hoping to do so this week.
Where do I stand with my complaint? Who can I escalate it to? I really want my discount applied and the overpayments returned. Because of all of this time I feel something else is necessary, but at this moment, not urgent!
Any advice?
J

See the Vodafone complaints thread and contact the WRT as instructed innumerable times on there. Don't bother doing anything else; Vodafone's mission in life is to make problems they created worse. Call-back promise; how naive!!0
