TV Keeps Freezing - Help?

Now hold on there chap, this is a money SAVING site not money SPENDING! Nothing has been diagnosed yet, and my best guess at the minute is 'user error'!
Look at the back of the TV - where have you plugged the (old and new) Freeview boxes into. Is it labelled AV1 or something? That is the input that you need to switch the TV onto with your remote.
Does your TV actually have a Freeview tuner and you don't need these boxes, and just need to plug the aerial into it?!0
