Your basket needs to be at least £10 , of which at least £5 must be F&V.

Many thanks for this I didn't now the wine was on offer, so got 6 bottles for pressies and £10 free fruit and veg. Six presents and 2 week.s fruit and veg for a £20 spend, woohoo.

I don't think the wording is very clear. From these replies I'm assuming I only have to spend £5 on non-f&v items, pick up £5 of f&v, and only pay £5 at the checkout?

Put £5 or more of fruit and veg in your basket / trolley, make the spend up to £10 or more, present the voucher and off comes £5 from your total.

meg72 - yes, I bought more wine today, added £5.09 of fruit and veg, so only 49p for the fruit and veg (including the price of the newspaper). I'll be doing the same on Saturday and might get a sack of potatoes (only £2).

Dont know how many different ways I can repeat this.
You can spend any amount you want on non-F&V , as long as your total basket is
1) at least £10 ( of anything )
2) at least £5 F&V

so for example if your basket comes to £10.21 and it contains £7 of F&V then you hand over your voucher and £5.21

The sentence "A £10 minimum basket spend applies". It's not a £10 spend if you're only paying £5! Even the voucher heading reads "£5 off fresh fruit, veg and salad when you spend £10".

I'll go with the general consensus, but it seems I'm not the only "thicko" on here!

I agree that the Sun's front page at least was a little confusing.
Before I saw the front page, I was expecting it to be £5 off a £10 spend on fruit and veg - which would still have been a great offer, but not everyone would want to spend £10 on fruit and veg in one go (single persons for example).
Even the till op was a little confused today, so obviously they weren't fully advised (or they didn't take it in).
Morries was very busy today and I witnessed loads adding up their spends on fruit and veg and carefully selecting items.

I'm hoping for more or similar in the coming weeks.
Enjoy your savings, that's the main thing.

Dont understand why so many people dont understand this offer. Other vouchers say for example : "£5 off a £40 spend", but no one ever asks if they have to have a total basket of over £45.

But in that case there is no ambiguity as it clearly states "£5 OFF a £40 spend". The Morrisons one says... "blah blah blah when you spend £10". It could be inferred that you have to spend £10 to receive your free £5 of f&v.

I'll find out over the weekend, assuming the staff understand it!
