Sky charging me for voicemail from December

I was one of the people swapped over from O2, so not sure if this affects everyone, but a reminder that you will have to opt out of voicemail to avoid the increase in line rental, if that's what you wish.
Just a warning there is no way to opt out of this on the Sky site, and the on line help took 25 minutes to achieve this feat for me from their end!
My guess is that 99% won't be bothered or just give up trying.

You can cancel 1571 instantly using the Sky Service App, android or iOS..

Information about this was sent out ages ago, via email. Cancelling it will not prevent the £1 line rental increase, but will prevent the extra charge for the service.
I, too, joined from O2, but cancelled 1571 shortly afterwards as the message kicked in too quickly and the allowed waiting time is fixed. I found cancellation, by phone very simple.0 -
