O2 Sim not delivered

Does anyone feel i would be in my rights to cancel my sim only contract i took at the weekend? I took it up with the express intention if joining the priority rewards scheme in order to buy some advance tickets this morning. The sim has not arrived so i cannot get the access code to key in the app. Their website says next day delivery (although i suspect that is actually restricted to actual phone packages). When i asked on live chat last night they said the weekend was busy and it should be 1-3 working days and they cannot do anything there fir me (even tho i do have the O2 phone no available)

    You can cancel as it is within 14 days so not a problem.


    Taking out a contract just to buy some tickets seems a bit daft to me though....why not just go and get a payg sim and use that ?

    Why don't you go to a local shop and get a PAYG SIM while you are waiting?

    Is it tickets for Ed Sheeran? If so the offer is on for 48 hours, so expires Friday morning at 8am.
  • Thanks. I have sim only so wasnt adverse to changing providers. Got a minimum deal with low usage mins etc. Yes its for Ed Sheeran. Just not sure what to do if it doesnt turn up before Fri as not convinced i can get some on general sale

    You should check the signal quality using a payg before you commit to a contract anyway so well worth picking up a sim and trying first
