MR APP Rootkit - how can I remove it?

Yes, uninstall that if that's what's listed.

Your laptop should be safe. This isn't a rootkit, despite avast saying so.

It doesn't want to uninstall for some reason. I am going to try again but this timw I will sign in as the other user on this laptop.

It couldn't get it removed either. It stated

I closed theYouGovPulse application down by clicking on the icon on the menu bar, however MR APP is still showing as being on my laptop.

I cannot see how or where I can get this removed because part of what I read stated to close down the ap and then you could remove YouGovPanel but for some reason although YouGovPanel was removed MR APP is still on my laptop?!?

Before I started your last suggestion I noticed a Valued Opinions notifier and I removed it. MR APP has disappeared from my laptop. :j

Do I still need to do your suggestion?
