I've got an iPhone, bought it second hand and as long as I don't use the internet when out and about it lasts a fair while. But I'm starting to go to they gym more and would love nothing more than to catch up to music while at the gym. So I was wondering if anyone's got any recommendations for cheap mobile phones that I can connect to my wifi at home for updating the spotify and can hold quite a few songs. I'm not looking to pay a great deal, but don't have a laptop so just need something I can use to get music so I can happily listen away.
Thanks in advanced

Won't your current phone do this? If not, any smartphone will do. I know the Nexus S used to be highly regarded for audio quality and you shouldn't have to pay very much on ebay for one. Replacement batteries are cheap as well.0

If you pay for spotify you can set your phone to Offline Mode - make sure all of your songs are downloaded over your wifi and you can listen to them offline. I do this with my Galaxy S4 with no issues (although I just turn my mobile data off and keep Spotify in online mode)Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

any cheap android phone or tablet
ie Motorola Moto E0 -
My battery zaps if I use it too much, so that's why I was going to get a cheap phone and just pay spotify to get the music on it. I'll probably have to get a new one eventually:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Argos are selling an Alcatel Android phone for £19.99. Takes a memory card so memory size shouldn't be a problem.
EE Alcatel One Touch Pop C1 Mobile Phone - Black.

The phone is on EE but can be unlocked for a £1.69 unlock code on eBay.====0 -

Have you tried setting it to 'flight mode' when you don't need the 'phone' bit?
Improves battery life considerably0 -
How old is the phone? Maybe it's time to replace the battery0

As much as I currently hate them, Vodafone have a decent deal on the Moto E
£55 including a £10 top up or £45 if you are already a customer.
Costs 2 quid to get it unlocked off eBay if you are on another network.0 -
I've had it since May but bought it second hand so it's probably a good year or 2 old. How much is it to replace the battery? Going to look into the 2 phones though. Thank you:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

I didn't know you could still buy a phone with Gingerbread on it. I have a similar Alcatel to this (but 3G), but I can't download any file bigger than about 20MB because it seems to want to go to my SD card via the 160MB HDD. This phone has only 128MB HDD! Suggest you see about a PAYG upgrade on an unlocked phone at CPW.0
