PDA Advice required

Hi,

One of our sales reps has asked to be able to prepare sales reports in Word while out on the road. The ability to connect to our Windows 2000 Server and pick up and send Emails would also be handy.

Could people suggest something that would do the job. She wants a laptop, but I believe a PDA or Phone PDA would be better. She would write about a side of A4 a day in Word.

What would people recommend? I like the XDA II's

you can read emails and surf with xda2 (not had an xda2s but im sure it would be the same) and you can also get bluetooth and infra red keyboards if the reps dont like using the stylus. also easier to hide away in car as a laptop on show will soon be gone.
also plenty os s/w available for the pdas

I've even found the onscreen keyboard (tap with stylus) easy for typing notes on the xda. You can get a well-subsidised machine with an o2 contract for 12 months. I used uplands http://shop.uplands.co.uk/acatalog/O2_XDA_2.html cheapest at the time and a good service. I was able ot downgrade the contract to the cheapest on 02 after 4 months.
