The best Fibre deal right now?

Hi all,

I have had my broadband with sky for the past year and decided to cancel as my contract ends next month. The retentions team called me and offered the standard 50% off the tv package but couldn't do anything on the fibre optic broadband - would have been £350 p/y for the broadband if I stayed with them.

I am on the look out for the best fibre optic broadband deal at the moment (30-50mb ideally) , appreciate it is changing every day. I saw on Martin's email last week that virgin £261 a year was the best, however seems to have finished now just when I was going to purchase yesterday :-(

I have a friend who can refer me to virgin media broadband, however if I was to go via a uswitch link could I still get "refer a friend" £50 credit?
