Tyre Valve Connector - 12V Air Pump

Have to say I hate those valve connectors, I have 3 of them, one on my eezibleed kit, one on a pump/compressor and one on a foot pump.
2 of them (i can't remember which exactly), grip when the lever is pulled down parallel to the hose, one of them grips when it's at 90 degrees (as in your picture).
The result is I have ruined one of them by pushing it on when it was closed, whilst thinking it was actually open, but just a tad stiff.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I noticed the exact product in Argos today that scotsman4th linked to - it's currently reduced to £12.99 but there are only two stores in Worcestershire and Birmingham with remaining stock.
I visited Halfords today and bought this. Fitted it in under a minute and it works well. I'm with Strider though - I don't like these valves, hence the part from ebay that was too wide for the narrow hose.
The Halfords one seems cheaply made and one problem I've already found is that if I push it all the way onto the tyre valve, a lot of air escapes before the stiff thumb valve can be turned. No air escapes when the thumb valve is locked. When releasing, a lot of air hisses out before you can actually unseat the connector.
The trick is to just sit it loosely on the tyre valve, then turn the thumb lever. This causes it to grip and depress the tyre valve core. You hear a quick hiss and hardly any air escapes. Same for releasing - simply release the thumb lock and you hear a quick hiss and the valve pretty much falls off the tyre with minimal air loss.0
