I also received a fine from parking in this car park!... I have ignored the letters now they have sent a debt letter out. I have read many comments and researched it for hours! They will get laughed out of court because it's a free car park and it never fills so they have not lost a penny of earnings from parking there so there is nothing they can do in not paying mine it's just a scam0

How did you get on with this fine? Did you ignore it? Im currently in the same situation at the same place, stayed over the time period and went went off site...
Stayed for just over 3 hours but the last 1 and a half hours the shop was closed anyway so it's not like they have lost out on income so for them to be asking for £100 is ludacris!
Any help would be helpful... I have received my first letter and it's about 17days in so I can't even pay the early fine of £60

Oh no, how has this ancient thread been revived. The OP hasn’t been any where near this forum for just a few days short of 3 YEARS. And so much has changed in that time.
Fortunately for you Davies2k, the OP is unlikely to respond, because the likelihood after all this time is that it would be dangerously incorrect information/advice.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
