Well, not any less knackered today :rotfl:
    Maybe cause I haven't stopped.
Took my return in, bought the trousers, finished off the pedicure - feet are amazingly soft now. Didn't do this last night as a friend called and we were on the phone for 2.5hrs  Love talking to him though.

I also cleaned out the fridge and defrosted the freezer :D That had been on the list for a while but it's one of those - doesn't even take that long but not particularly pleasant, is it? Perfectly clean now though :j

Lamb in the slow cooker for dinner.
    Shopping coming tonight.

Still to do at some point this weekend:
    submit an assignment
    mark 50 pages of notes
    clean the floors
try not to lose my mind :rotfl:

I'm feeling pretty weird, I'm definitely tired but I have a huge drive to up and go and get things done. Works for me but I know I'll wake up one morning and it'll hit me :rotfl:

Oh, and I got my exam results, I needed 100pts and I got 101  So I was right, it was very hard and very very close. A pass is a pass, I'll take it :D

I went to give blood this morning. DS enjoyed all of the biscuits and chocolates :rotfl:
It wiped me out though and when we came home I fell asleep for an hour.

Need to pop into a shop very quickly and then get some dinner going.

I also want to mark up all of my notes tonight.

The lack of energy is real...
Spent a couple of hours in the park with DS, made dinner, had a bath, got my nails done and about to sit down with my notes for marking.
Tomorrow I hope to wake up with the usual burst of energy and the get-go as I have the new material to get stuck into.

Money is ticking over, still logging every single spend so I know exactly where's it's going. And yeah, it's food :rotfl:

Quick diary update whilst I still can.
3rd day of the course done and dusted today. It was actually very tiring as we did a mock exam. But I submitted all of my work for marking so awaiting feedback now.
My attention is now once again on F3. Ironically, the 4th and last exam I am not even a tiny bit worried about - I find it the easiest by far. It's this one that needs most attention. And so back to the grindstone - still got time.

Tonight I have to go to Asd@, cook, wash up, take the bins out, get my nails done and carry on with the exam practice.

4 weeks and counting - got to persevere, I'll thank myself for it later, I know that for sure.

Thanks for your support newbietech and moneyonmymindsam. Sometimes that's all we need
  • Forgot to update on my weight - lost 5lbs in 2 weeks, only 15 more to go :j:j:j
Very happy with the progress, can always trust THD. Will be in a great position by the end of May, another 10lbs I reckon.

Right, back to the books :A

The weekend was filled with studies :D Got loads done.
Yesterday I also decided to clean the whole home - did 2 loads of laundry, changed beds, washed up, took rubbish out, cleaned the floors, changed the hamsters and DS cleaned the bathroom. Everything is spick and span again.
Lost another 2lbs, 13 to go. It's just falling off me now I realised I'm severely intolerant to dairy :T:T:T

Short update, back to the books

So what have I been up to this morning? Ah right, I got up, had my vits, did my yoga, passed my exam :D:D:D:D:D

I passed again!!! I am so happy I was literally screaming in the car on the way home.
It didn't start so well - I forgot my calculator so had to go get it. But the invigilator did not pause the exam time so I lost about 2mins. If anyone here has done CIMA exams they will know that every second is crucial, literally. But I got on with it and received my rewards :T

I have now passed 3 exams first time in 6 weeks and my last one is in 3 weeks. I will then be able to call myself a qualified chartered accountant :A Cannot wait.

After the exam, I went straight to the shops, got DS a few bits from BOOts including vits and scar reducing serum for a tiny cut he has on his tummy. I then went to M7S and picked up a few of his favourite treats including profiteroles and some flowers for myself. Finally, I got him a huge (HUGE) heart shaped balloon as a thank you for being the best, most understanding and supportive son whilst I've been studying. Giving me space when I needed it and a cuddle when I also needed it :D

Tonight we'll go watch that new film everyone is raving about ;) It'll be nice to just relax and not have to worry about the exams for a week or so.

At course tomorrow, second to last day - very exciting.

Well, that's my great news, hope everyone is well

    Had a really productive afternoon.
Called and paid for 6 months worth of parking.
Bought flights to see family at Christmas.
Lamb stew in the slowcooker, chai tea on the hob.
We're about to head out to watch the movie.
DS absolutely loved the balloon :rotfl:

    I still need to:
write down the schedule of dates for DS's grammar school entry,
find a gift for my mum.
