Free flights are usually charged as 1p per person per leg of journey so my trips showed up as 4p visa charge on my statement.

Yeah, I've just checked and I must have paid for priority boarding.

It's quite misleading really, it asks you how many bags you want to check-in, but only provides one option for "hand luggage only" I didn't know that you could just leave it without selecting an option.

Might give em a ring, cause the flight isn't til 3pm, so we won't be rushing to get there, and I wouldn't really like to be there only half an hour before it set off anyway.

Priority boarding can be useful on crowded flights as you get on the plane first and can almost be guaranteed to get seats together. It isn't worth phoning to ask them to remove this option as you'll spend more o phone charges and admin for removing the charge.

You can't "just leave it", there is a 'remove' option after selecting '0 bags - Priority Boarding'.

It pays to check the threads before booking.

Back from our 2 day trip to Dublin ( from Bristol) with the penny flights

big thumbs up for Ryanair from us no probs with checking in ( non priority) or the flight both ways
