I have sold a house with £6000 negative equity. Voluntarily given up on one mortgage, which, consequently lead me to privately rent after 12 months of legal deliberations. A clear order from the judge not to pay a penny for that duration. I have been made homeless which was by order of the high court which took 9 months. I have just been informed of my next eviction proceedings which will take up to 7 months from today (which naturally I am determined to avoid). I can only speak from experience. Don't get me wrong though. Lots of people have been all to happy to give me the worst case scenario despite the fear and anxiety I feel at my lowest ebb.

You may well have experienced the worst case scenario and for that I am sorry. Or you may know first hand all the legalities surrounding homelessness/evictions. Threads like this are so important to help keep people informed. What I replied in my post was all I wished someone had told me. Instead I wasted so much time in limbo. Never getting the answers.
