I'm thinking of moving from BT for my fibre BB and landline. I've never had problems over the past 2 years but I'm looking for a better deal.
Plusnet caught my eye with a good deal and cashback.
Has anyone a good or bad opinion about them?

Ours took a long time (several weeks) and to change the broadband over and we had a few teething problems with their modem connection (a nuisance as they could only make appointments to visit during working/office hours). This was quickly sorted out but it took a lot of phonecalls and a couple of visits.
Since then the broadband has been really great, occasionally down for a few seconds, but never more than that. We've been with them for over a year.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.Started 30th January 2018.

Plusnet for 7 yrs, no problems. They are always ready to cut a deal when I think about switching. They tend to do what they promise. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0

I've had no problems with them. Like all these things problems will occur sometimes but as they are wholly owned by BT I can't see you noticing any difference in speeds and the switchover should be easy.0

I am doing the same but in the opposite direction for the same reasons.
I found the plusnet fibre service to be quite reliable, we have had 2 or 3 outages over the 18 month contract the longest took a few days to resolve.
I am on the 76mb package and get about 52mb down which although not bad as a headline figure we get the impression the service has slowed somewhat over the year. All that said, if they had offered a decent retention deal i would have probably stayed with them but they could not match the current BT deal with a 12 month contract offered via MSE (if the link is working today!) .0 -
No problems once BT OR sent a qualified engineer out .0

Entering my 2nd year with Plusnet & just had fibre installed.
I rate them VERY highly - call centres (in UK ) that have always been helpful AND "known their stuff".0 -

The nature of these websites is that only people who have problems leave reviews there. Compare the reviews of other broadband providers to get a perspective of the reviews.
I value Plusnet's customer support very highly too. As the previous poster wrote, they "known their stuff", no standard answers like rebooting the router and so on.0 -
Very good and helpful user forum.0
