Thank you guys. I did get a rought quote from one of the installer for about 1250 + VAT.
However I would need to check up on few things before I ask someone to come over to take a look.
One one hand I think it would be great as it is just me and wife and dont need whole house to be heated all the time , on the other hand I am just concerned about the upfront cost.0 -

Take care getting a quote for supply and fitting because not only will the installer be charging you an arm and a leg for installation (IMO) but will doubtless also be charging you way more for the hardware than you could buy it for yourself. My tip would be to use Honeywell's online tool to determine what exactly you need, look to purhase this online at discounted rates THEN get the installer/s to quote for installation.

Excellent review and I agree with everything said. Great summing up as well:The last couple of years have seen a huge influx of new smart home heating controls. But we can’t help feeling the evohome is a premium product in this market, but without the usual accompanying premium price. We especially like the fact that you can get into evohome for around £200, starting off with the ATP921G2080 Evohome Base Pack (Honeywell Evohome controller, Power lead / table top stand and BDR91 Wireless Relay box) then add the radiator controllers as you can afford them, to building your complete system. One thing’s for sure, after living with evohome for just a few months, it’s hard to imagine ever going back.
Suffice to say, should we ever move house again we would be taking Evohome with us!!0
