Hello,
Popping in quickly to say, Redruby, so sorry to hear about little dog's health, thinking of you all.
Apologies for a short post but at the moment I am unable to string many words together to form a coherent sentence, so when my fibro fog has lifted I will be back.
Take care all.

Hello all,
Not a bad morning here, weather wise, dry and no wind. but we did have hard frost this morning.
Took DD shopping and I bought a few bits as well. We had a quiet day yesterday, didn't have to go out, so it was nice to be warm and cosy.
Had a good sort out and have found quite a few things for the Hospice shop so will drop those in sometime this week. Must pop to town tomorrow, need to go to the Bank and I need another gift card for a Christmas present.
RR I am so sorry little dog is unwell again, I do hope you don't have to make that decision yet. Hugs to you.
Hillstep, why don't you split the sausages, mix some sage and onion stuffing with the sausage meat, make them into little patties and either fry them or put them on a baking sheet and cook them in the oven. I have done this myself when I have bought some grotty sausages and it makes the world of difference
Hugs to anyone who would like one and positive vibes to all poorly animals
Have a good day

FREEDOM!!
So, I've finished workI really had to drag myself to the shower, on to the bus, through the shop door this morning, I did not want to go AT ALL. I was there by 9am and home at 1.15pm. I'm soooo relieved

I roasted two chickens yesterday, one as is and one garlicky. They'll keep us going for a few days.
It was very frosty this morning. At 6am I put my huge fleece on and stood at the open back door, drinking coffee. Lovely
No plans for this afternoon, other than scribble down a couple of ideas for my crochet and write a list of things to do so I can get back on track with everything.

Well done TRU, it is a good feeling isn't it.
It is almost 10 years since I retired, but still on a Sunday night I sit here thinking how lucky I am that I don't have to go into work Monday morning.
Enjoy every moment of it.

Afternoon all,
RR,(((lots of hugs for you and little dog)))
Not been posting much.been leading a boring life resting my leg,I didnt go out at all last weekThe mobile therapist came again on Friday, not very pleasant but it def felt better on Saturday.Just as well as we had a night out booked for ages with friends.I just about managed to do the shortish walk from the train station only to be faced with a load of steps at the restaurant ,hung onto DH and the handrail and got there in the end but got a taxi home after a good night.
Its DGS 1st birthday today ( where did that time go ) so we are all going to the other grandparents for tea tonight. His Mummy is off this week so I don't need to mind him all day tomorrow but he'll prob stay over tomorrow night.
I've been having a really good sort through the kitchen cupboards, and rearranging stuff too, when we moved into this house we thought we'd be able to move into our newly renovated house for Christmas and I wasnt too particular about what went where, but we'll still be here as DH hasn't been able to spend the time on it he would have liked.
Right need to get wrapping DGS presents so better get on with it.

Hello all! Sorry to hear about another poorly doggie.
Up early and dropped DS16 at school on my way to T*sco. Very quiet there at 9am on a Monday morning. Very frosty start but gorgeous sunshine now. Used a £5 off voucher in T, then had a lovely mooch around W*itrose as I had a £20 voucher there. Bought some gift wrap, tags, Xmas biscuits, half price smoked salmon etc. So fridge and freezer very well stocked now.
I have just been outside and washed my car, it was looking so mucky, probably not a perfect job but better than it was. Feeling very virtuous!0 -
Morning all,
I got caught out by the frost this morning and didn't leave enough time to scrape the car by hand, so I used the spray stuff.
Had a lovely crisp walk by the river first thing. It actually wasn't as cold as I'd thought.
Retrieved a backpack that I'd put in the Charity bag as a lady local to me has asked for items to be given to the homeless at Christmas time. I intend to make up a shoe box of bits which they also deliver.
Mince for tea and then off to Yoga if it isn't too cold0 -
Evening everyone, home again after a lovely weekend with the girls and the concert was the very best performance I've ever been to with the Chjoral Society on top form and the Philharmonia Orchestra being their usual brilliant selves. It was the Berlioz Grande Messe des Mortes which is such a spendid piece anyhow , truly grand in every sense of the word.
REDRUBY I'm so sad to hear that Little Dog has had to go to the vet again, my thoughts and prayers are with you and for her, hope to hear better news in the morning.
MOLLY hope the B12 makes a difference to Molly puppy, it's so difficult not being able to sleep in your bed, and it wears you down over time. Docky is definately better on the Zylkene and was so pleased to see me when I got off the train. He's been playing properly for the first time in months and has slept while I've been away with only one 5 o clock start for He Who Knows. We have to take him to the vet again on Wednesday to have a couple of blood tests for Hypothyroidism as his symptoms indicate that is a possibility then we have an appointment to talk it over at 4 in the afternoon, then see where we go from there.
TRU congratulations on getting your life back into your own hands, enjoy pet!0 -
I was wondering how things were with Docky x
Glad things are improving xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0
