Car is practically running on fumes so will fill up today.

Still awaiting an invoice to be paid for OH business- should be tomorrow or Thursday hopefully. Fingers crossed as we should be able to pay back OHs overdraft which he's used this month. We share all our finances really, run our joint account etc but I tend to get paid before OH does so it's swings and roundabouts- I pay, he pays back. What's mine is his and vice versa.

    9 days til payday.

    Things to do today
    Buy milk DONE
Fill up with petrol DONE- put on CC and clear in full on payday
    Hit the gym DONE
Laundry- still one load to do
    Business admin
    Big paperwork job with OH

Right, off to work. Have a good day :-)

Gym subscriptions came out today, slightly earlier than expected. Thats £90. Transferred £100 out of my savings to cover it and give baby boost to the current account. Also skimmed a few pounds into annual savings- not to be touched until December.

    So pots now stand at:

    Bottom line

    Bank balance £67.21
    Cash in purse £3.50
    Savings Pots £125.00
    Annual Savings Challenges pots: £21.00

    4 days until payday....

Worked out that for my last £90 payment to the gym, I attended 10 times in a month- making each session cost £9.00. The goal has to be to reduce that this month so fingers crossed. I do enjoy it and I am sticking with it which is much more than I've been able to do for many many years of laziness and denial! Silver linings and all that.

Sleepy but productive weekend. Low-key as dry January is still in tact. Did venture into a pub but only for a lunch with a friend where we both had soft drinks. Spent £12.15 and had a good catch up.

OH has small groceries list for tomorrow or Tuesday- but we have £8.50 of Mr T vouchers which should cover most if not all of that.

So close to payday- had hoped to have £100 put aside to cover OHs birthday presents but I've had to use that for gym subs. The money left in savings pots needs to just accumulate slowly month by month and not be touched. I try to add £100 a month with a view this will cover annual bills/insurances/tanks of oil/home repairs etc and really this should be more.

    NSD today
