Best Tablet for £150?

I'm looking to buy a tablet for no more than £150. It must have the capability of accessing the BBC, ITV, C4 and C5 catchup-players, and be able to transmit this wirelessly to my TV. Any suggestions?

Tesco hudl2 but you'll have to physically connect it to your TV.0

You've got around £30 change from that £150, with which you could buy a Google Chromecast, to plug into an HDMI port on your TV, which you can stream to. Also, you shouldn't be paying for a Hudl with cash, you can buy it for roughly £60 worth of Clubcard vouchers!0

Actually you can get it for £0 if you have enough vouchers - friend of mine did !!0

Note: Not all catch-up services are available via Chromecast.

What screen size do you prefer?
You could get a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 with 7" or 8" screen on Amazon with samsung's allshare app installed will beam movies via your wifi to your smart tv, no cables needed.0 -
Yup, sorry, I meant roughly £60 converting to roughly £120 to buy it. You get those vouchers by giving Tesco lots of money, so don't call it free!Actually you can get it for £0 if you have enough vouchers - friend of mine did !!0 -
If you don't mind a smaller screen what about eBuyer's Hisense Sero Pro 8 for (I think) £70?
I did have over a year ago the Hisense Sero Pro 7 which was much more at £130 - screen was great, it was fast (quad core) and the GPS was brilliant. Not the case with the original Hudl - GPS was total pants (I wanted to use MyTracks) and although in theory the quad proc was better it seemed to run slower than the Hisence Sero Pro 7....0 -
and don't forget, there are two types of screen, capacitive and resistive. One you need to use a stylus, the other you don't.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
